Which MNSSHP date?

We have attended a sold-out party, and I'm not eager to pay $300+ to repeat that experience. I haven't bought our tickets yet, and I'm wondering if there's historical data on which date would be best? Our choices are Friday 10/22 or Tuesday 10/27. I'm leaning towards the Tuesday date because I'm assuming. Weekend night will be more crowded. Thoughts?

My thought would be the same. We went a few years ago on a tues but in September and it was great. I don't think your crowds will be "low" being that close to Halloween but I think less locals will be there because it's a school night. I could be wrong who knows but that would be my thought process.

We went the Tuesday of Halloween week and it was a sell out. According to this link, the Friday before Halloween (which would be equivalent to the 22nd also sold out AND had the highest wait times in 2014.

Always go for Tuesday over Friday. But know that late in season both could sell out.

And I place no credence in the Touring Plans predictions since they are based on ride wait times, which are a very small piece of the hard ticket parties.

Ugh. I haven't bought the tickets yet-- I wonder if we should skip? We went on Halloween itself two years ago and, while it was a neat experience, it was just way too crowded to have much fun. Last year we went in early Oct and it was so, so much more pleasant. I am torn! We could add a water park day for less than the party tickets. What would you do??
