Which grocery delivery service would you recommend?

Over the years we have tried all of the grocery services. For us Garden Grocer was a let down, the order had errors, due to the holiday weekend it took 3 days to receive the correct items and their was still a mistake. We had a beef roast on the order and when we received it it had a Target label with a $10 mark up. Based on current reviews they seem to have improved.

We take a break from the parks and rent a car for a day from Alamo at the Dolphin. We can shop where and when we want, eat a meal offsite, and zero mistakes on the order. With the service markups, fees, and tip, the cost to rent a car is comparable if not a little cheaper.

We have used both wegoshop & Garden Grocer.
We used wegoshop for 7 trips & were happy. On my last time we had horrendous customer service from owner Amy's husband, So much so that I called Amy the next day. She too was rude to me & I cancelled the order. I will never use them again. I do not recommend them.
I have been very pleased with Garden Grocer. Excellent customer service. Very professional staff. Perfect order delivered on time. I highly recommend them.
We order: breakfast food, bananas, coffee, water, beer, wine, soda, cheese& crackers. & other snacks
Good Luck.

So sorry to hear about your DH's diagnosis. You may want to consider We Go Shop if you are looking primarily for organic. They can shop any store that you specify. I think I have seen posts about people getting delivery from Whole Foods, but don't quote me on that. Many wishes for a wonderful WDW vacation and successful journey!

Thank you for your kind words and recommendations!

We just used Garden Grocer for the first time last week. Fantastic experience. It sure beat running to the supermarket on check in day and trying to squeeze that in between pool time and dinner time.

To reduce first day over-do, we eat at an onsite restaurant and go shopping on the second day. If we have a larger party, 2 of us shop while the others enjoy the pool or parks.

We eat a first night dinner on site as well (this year it was the Boathouse - fantastic!).

In room food for us is primarily breakfast and snacks to pack for the kids while we are touring the parks. Since we're generally park touring on day 2, it's important to have groceries in place day one in order to have breakfast before we leave in the morning for rope drop. I suppose I could always go to Publix after dinner on day one, but after doing something similar a few years ago I concluded that my preference is to no longer run around like that on vacation.

We just used Dizzy Dolphin and plan to use them for our August trip. You send them your list and they respond with a price quote within 48 hours, it was a few hours later when I heard back. What I liked was, you can choose what stores you would like them to shop from and choose brands and sizes, not a generic list. I was very happy with the service.

Very nice review and thanks for posting the link!

I have used Garden Grocer a few times when we didn't have our car. The entire process was easy and service excellent.
