which gift would you want?

As a Grandfather I would prefer Grand kids.

Grand kids are part of ME, forever.

Grand kids for sure. I don't think most people would want one of these with a weddng photo on it -- sorrry. If there are more grand kids than your children, the best gift would be a photo of all of them. My father-in-law have one with all six of their grandsons on it and it made the big stuff cut to the retirement community -- about 90% of their stuff didn't.

I'm glad you mentioned this. I might do it for my parents. If I do, I'll probably use a photo from when my boys (youngest is 15) were younger.

As a Grandma, I vote for the Grandchildren.

GREAT IDEA!! I would LOVE to do that for my mom and my MIL. I don't know if I could bring myself to do it with just DS though for this Christmas!! Maybe I'll remember for next Christmas and do one with both kids!

Hands down the throw of the kids. Between those 2 choices, I completely agree with your DH. While you may like to have a throw of your wedding pic; I would think most Grandparents would much rather have one of their Grandkids, although I think they would probably prefer one of all 4 of you. Could you guys get a professionl pic done of all of you?

I agree, Grandkids. Sorry, but I would not want one with a wedding picture on it. :flower3:

Hi, I have decided to get my mother and my mother in law both personalized photo throws for x-mas. A photo throw is a throw blanket with a photo woven into it. They are very nice. I cant decide if the photo on the throws should be a wedding pic of my hubby and I or if it should be a photo of our 2 kids. I kind of like the wedding photo idea, we were married 3 years ago, but my hubby says "Nobody wants to see a picture of us" so he thinks it should be a pic of our 2 kids. Both I think will be nice. Which would you prefer to have....a throw with a pic of your childs wedding or a throw with your grand children on it? Thanks

Totally cool idea. Go with the grandchildren on the throw. Grandparents LOVE to brag about their grandkids. ;)

Definatly not the wedding picture. It's a little self abosbed, it's from your heart, but it dosn't always come out likie that. The kids is better, but it's incomplete.

I think a family photo would be the best.

I going to do this for my mother-in-law for Christmas this year. She has two grandchildren -- my son, who is 22, and my niece, who will be two on Tuesday. They are 20 years apart!!! Anyway, I think my m-i-l will love this gift.

Any ideas where to start to have this done?
