Which Epcot-area resort would you choose?

If money were no object, which Epcot-area resort on Crescent Lake would you choose for a five-night stay on a romantic adults-only birthday trip?

I'm going to budget for a value for our next trip (and a deluxe resort at Universal, as I feel those get you more bang for your buck), but I realized that the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Swolphin, etc. are close enough to walk or take a boat to both Epcot AND Hollywood Studios. Which would make mid-day breaks at those parks really easy! And the Boardwalk is right there with a ton of awesome dining opportunities...so maaaybe I could justify saving up some more cash to spring for one of those resorts, or at least try and get into the Dolphin on points.

Any thoughts? What would you prefer?

Yacht Club...hands down. we always find our stays there quiet and relaxed. you can walk to 2 parks, and 5 resort hotels...so plenty of food and drinks.

They're all great, but our favorite is Boardwalk. We really like the theme and atmosphere. The pool is great and has THE best slide on property, which is actually important to this 50 yr old kid.

Before the refurbs that removed most of the in-room theming from the Yacht Club and Beach Club, and left the rooms looking rather generic with only subtle hints of theming, I would have chosen Yacht Club.

Now, I would choose Boardwalk, as I like theming, and it still has that in the rooms, more than the other two.

I would choose one of the bungalows at the BW. I always think they look so pretty and so private.

They are all great. If budget is an issue, I would pick whichever prices out the least! They all have great pools, and the location can't be beat. In terms of preference, YC and BWI are tied for me, with BC/Swan/Dolphin coming in a pretty close second.

I'd go with either BWI or YC. Both of those resorts are more geared towards adults, imo.

I've never stayed at Dolphin so can't really comment on that. It looks nice, though!

I have stayed at BWI, BC and YC, with the Yacht Club most recently in February. They are all great, but next time I will again choose the Yacht Club. Loved it! Yes, you can walk or take the water taxi to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The location is fantastic.

If money were no object I would do a suite at the BC.

Last trip we did BC and we loved it. It was my dream resort and lived up to the hype for me. This trip we are doing BWV on rented points. I really just went with whatever was cheapest this time since it's just DD and myself and I love the Epcot resorts.

My DH & I stay at YC pretty much every trip. Love it, it's our our favorite resort. If it was during cooler weather & I wasn't planning any pool time, then BWI would be fine. We're not big pool people by love StormAlong Bay. BWI pool is nothing special for us. If it's warm enough for swimming, has to be Y & B.

I have never stayed at the Swan or Dolphin. I recommend either the Yacht Club or Boardwalk. The Beach Club is more family-oriented. If a balcony is important to you, you only have a 50/50 chance of getting one at Beach Club. I agree with a PP who recommended that you look into a garden cottage at the Boardwalk if money is no object. I haven’t stayed at one, but they are sort of like honeymoon suites and have club level access.

We do stay at Epcot area resorts for romantic adult only trips, both birthday (mine) and anniversary.
We pick Boardwalk. CL if at all possible. I'm checking daily for a CL room to open up for our anniversary trip next month.
We've stayed at all 3 Epcot resorts, even Swan/Dolpin, multiple times. Boardwalk is our favorite by leaps and bounds

Yacht Club, we actually love the new rooms too. No matter what you choose you can't go wrong but we much prefer having access to SAB and aren't huge Boardwalk Resort fans.

If only the 2 of you, either Yacht Club or Boardwalk. We prefer Boardwalk. Its quiet, well themed. The same can be said for Yacht club, which is why its a toss up. We've stayed at all three. When the kids were young, we preferred Beach Club. Now, without kids, the other 2.
