Which crowd calendar do you prefer?

I'm looking at a few and they vary during our dates. We can go to MK on 3-18 or 3-20 and the calenders seem to be in disagreement over which dates are likely to be the least crowded.

Which calendar have you had pretty good success with? I know that all of this is guesswork but I can't decide.

I'm wondering the same. During out trip in August there is a discrepancy on the Sundays. I'm looking at Touring Plans and easywdw. One says MK is the best park and one says the worst park on both the Sundays's we are there. The rest of the days are pretty similar or spot on with each other but why the complete opposite opinion on the Sundays?

I use both, but rely more on touring plans. Optimally, I try to find days where both agree, and work with our schedule.

Easywdw - I like that he explains in detail all of his ratings. That way I can look at it and see if I agree with his concerns or just make my own choices.

I'll admit that I haven't tested it out yet, but I like that Josh (the guy who writes easyWDW) gives reasoning behind his recommendations. For instance, with regards to DisFam95's question about why he isn't recommending Sundays in August, he says it's because most people start their vacations on the weekends, and want to do their first full day at MK, which means Sundays and Mondays are going to be more crowded there.

I look at TP for historical crowd calendars, but don't rely on them for predictions. On our last trip this past fall, they predicted a level 2 day for MK and the next day said it was actually a 7. We felt like we wasted a day flighting crowds based on that prediction, and it wasn't the only large discrepancy that week, just the hugest. So we used ewdw for choosing parks, but look at TP's historical info to help choose which week.

We've used both touring plans and easy wdw and take both with a grain of salt. On our last trip, sometimes they were both really wrong. I do like that easy wdw has explanations.

Touring plans is often really wrong for Disneyland, but that's another issue...

Our strategy is to go during crowded times (LOL ok, not entirely by choice!) and do big rides at rope drop. That way, we don't care about the crowd predictions.

On our last trip we used Touring Plans and I was a little disappointed. They just seemed to be way off with their predictions. I plan on using easywdw on our next trip in May after reading the good reviews. Hopefully it will work out better. Have fun on your trip!

Easy WDW. I have them both, and to me Easy seems more accurate when it comes to which parks are better on what days. I use Touring Plans only for making an actual touring plan, if I think I need one.

EasyWDW is reliably accurate and reliably entertaining, though potentially repetitive with adverbs.
