I was thinking of doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast, for our first morning at disney to see all the character? but now i thinkning maybe the garden grill or ohana's?

what do you think?

Chef Mickey's is a great start to your vacation! The basic characters are there, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc. Ohana's breakfast has Stitch, Lilo, Goofy and Mickey. Crystal Palace in MK has the Pooh characters. Select the ones that interest you and yours or go to more than one.

Enjoy!

I would choose Ohana's. It's one of my favorite restaurants at Disney World both for breakfast and dinner. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I love how they serve the food family style and the hawaiian themeing. Chef Mickey's is fun but as far as the food goes Ohana's or 1900 Park Fare are so much better.

I agree. Go for which characters you like best. But I love Chef Mickey's. I have been to Crystal Palace for dinner and that's nice too.

Go to the one who has the most characters you wish to see. We used to always do Ohana's when it was Minnie and the food was outstanding, but we stopped once it became Stitch. Sorry...we just aren't Stitch lovers.

The Garden Grill has low lighting and if you are keen on pictures of the characters interacting with you, this is NOT the place to go. Last time we checked the characters were Chip, Dale and Pluto.

So find out which characters you want first, then select your charcter meal restaurant. Seriously the photos at GG turned out yellowish and blurry.

Hope this helped

I agree, go with the charcaters you want to see. We did O'Hanas in August and loved it. We are Stitch lovers though. We enjoyed the food and liked that it was not a buffet. They do a little parade with all of the kids every 40 minutes or so. We are doing Chef Mickey's in April.

I had Garden Grill down on my list to try..if not there, what other TS in Epcot do you suggest??

We haven't done Garden Grill since our boys (now 21 and 19) were about 8 and 6 years old so I can't comment on it. We enjoy Biergarten and there is enough variety that I am sure everyone can find something they like and the entertainment is fun.

We had dinner at O'Hana's last week and really enjoyed it. It is served familiy style so you can relax and every 30 minutes or so they do a kids activity (hula lesson, coconut race) that kids can get up and participate in. The dinner though is NOT a character event.
We did the character dinner at Liberty Tavern (again served family style, not a buffet, so you can sit and relax and enjoy) and really liked it. Our reervations were at 4:45 and the early dinner was nice after running around the park all day since 9 am! My son was anxious to do the rides so we opted NOT to do a breakfast character meal so we could just start exploeing the park when it opened. We ended up seeing characters around the parks in the morning so had photo ops. The dinner character meal worked great for us and we enjoyed the food. The characters at Liberty Tavern were Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale.
