My husband and I are taking his whole family (mother, brother, sister in law and 2 nephews) to Disney (staying at our DVC Villa) in January. None of them have ever been to WDW! (can you imagine??)
The boys are ages 9 and 12 and I know the day we get there they will be chomping at the bit to get going. Realistically after traveling all morning we don't forsee hitting the parks until the next day. So I was thinking of starting them off by going to a character meal for dinner that night in one of the resorts so they can get a taste of Disney magic up close and in person. We are staying at the Villas as the Wilderness Lodge, who I believe used to have a character breakfast, but it has since been discontinued. We do have Hoop De Do reservations for the Monday but while that is entertaining, it's not Disney Characters.
Any recommendations on which character meal we should take them to and why? I'm SO clueless when it comes to character meals, as my hubby and I never do them when we are on our own!!
