Which canon p & s?

So we are going to disneyland paris and Paris.. I dont want to take my Nikon DSLR but I dont like the canon elph i had for our last overseas trip.
Am looking at the Canon S100 (or s95), the Canon SX500 or Canon SX260. Any opinions on these? (I LOVED my canon A95--those pics were great. The A 630 was fine. The A series now is not that good it seems). I want to have good pics!!

I'd first eliminate the SX500. If you want a superzoom/bridge get the SX40/SX50

If you are mostly talking Disney photography, the s95/s100 has a bigger sensor and a faster lens. It's an enthuiast camera that that takes more "DSLr like" pictures than the typical point and shoot.

The SX260 is a quality choice if you would rather have a pocketable 500mm zoom, but at wide angle (like most Disney pics) its not as good as the s95/s100. But, it may be a decent choice if you need the zoom at home, too.

Thanks... I found the Sx50 to be too big (want one I can just stick in my purse). The camera is for disney but especially for the sights in Paris... So would the S95/s100 still be the best choice? Over the sx500 or sx 260?

If you want the sx260 for pocket zoom then get the sx280 the replacement. Its coming out next month. Also fr pocket power look at the sony nex 3n at your local best buy. Its small and as dslr like image quality.

As long as you do not regularly like to take pictures beyond 150mm, the s95/s100 has better IQ.

Personally, I have a 20x travel zoom because I use that zoom in enough situations at home/kids sports. It's a compromise, because I know landscapes and portraits are not quite as good as an enthuiast camera.

Dont really think I need too much zoom. Ahh, Sony.. too expensive, though wouldnt I just love the rx100? Cant justify the cost of the Sony.

My sister has it and loves it. Takes pretty good pic but has some issues I think with darkier situations.
