Which Avatar ride are you picking first?

I make fast passes tomorrow and I am wondering if I should pick one over the other for our first AK day on June 13th? What are others doing?

I think I will go for the Flight of Passage simulator first. I desperately want to ride both, of course, and to see the land after dark.

I think I would Fast Pass the River Journey first because of capacity issues. Those boats are small- only 8 people per boat I think. Plus I would expect the River line to be longer since there's no height requirement. I am excited for both, so it's purely a logistics thing for me.

Were doing AK twice so FOP the first day, then NRJ the second day.

Both were available this morning for June 14th. (Check in on the 12th, so I could make FP for length of stay)

We went withe the boat ride, but just because we were not sure if Flight would be too intense for a 5 and 8 year old. Hopefully that question will be answered before our June trip.

I am kind of glad that we aren't visiting until August. We don't make FP+ selections until the 10th of June, so there will be some early reports on how the lines build first thing in the morning before we have to make our selections.

We went with boat ride knowing Flights of Passage has higher capacity and height requirements. We'll be there June 3...We FP boat and will take advantage of late after hours 11 PM - 1 AM to try to hit them both in one day!

I went with NRJ because of height requirements and keeping our whole extended family together.

We only have one day for AK and it was tough but we chose the River Journey for our FP+. As of yesterday there are still times available for this ride, but none left for Flights of Passage. This is for May 28th. Seems like Flights of Passage might be the more popular one....

We are going for 10 days and 2 will be at AK so I was able to get FP for both rides with the River Journey being first. My son is 3 so he won't be riding the FoP and I'll wait to hear reports and see the ride to determine if I'm actually going to ride as I don't do "roller coaster type" rides and this may be one of those that I just can't handle. LOL

Definitely FP FOP and ride stand by for NRJ. NJR should load and unload more people much quicker than FOP.

I booked the river boat ride first at the beginning of our trip and the flight one at the end. However we are also going for EMH morning on the Sat. at 7:00 am. or our trip and will try for both that day. Then of course we can always try for both by going to an evening emh!!

From tracking what people who were able to book so far were seeing, it seemed like the FP+ for the FOP was running out quicker, so I picked that when it was my day to pick
