I use MDE and Lines (by Touring Plans). Both will tell you the wait times (or, in the case of Lines, the estimated "actual" wait time and remaining FP+ availability), but I keep Lines on my phone for easy access to the dining menus. I like the menus on that app better than those on MDE.
In case you're unfamiliar, you do need to pay for the expanded version of Lines. You can get your username and password set up on their website, and then enter it on the app to unlock all the wait times and the features. A one-year subscription costs $12.95 - you get a discount if you've bought a recent Unofficial Guide to WDW.
There are discounts available for Touring Plans/Lines. If you go on the website and browse a bit, a promo code usually pops up. Also may be able to google.
Lines does have expected wait times for characters
