Hey there! How are you?

We love 1900 Park Fare's food, yet I've never tried the strawberry soup. I know they have it, but I guess I thought it was served at dinner.

We are trying the dinner next month... that is so cool to say. I will have to let you know what we think!

I think GF is very pretty; it is bright and crisp. I am excited to stay there when the DVC section opens (I guess it has to actually be built and Disney has to actually admit it exists first.) but I suspect it won't be our favorite.

Lol a lot of people are looking forward to a DVC section opening here - I'm guessing it will fill up pretty quickly once Disney admits to it existing and it being built Yeah, it's not my favourite resort but is very pretty.

I'm glad you had a good trip and have lots of memories, and I join those in wishing you a new year filled with great new adventures! You're such a sweet person and you deserve ONLY the best!

We'll have to try 1900PF sometime in the future, I really do like the overall "look" of the place, and we fell in love with GF on our past trip (though I'm not sure I'd ever want to stay there, who knows...)

Looking forward to reading much more!

Yeah it was a nice relaxing day apart from the getting lost part I would just be happy to get some sunshine...hate the winter weather!

Aaw thank you soo much hun - we loved our trip and having the memories. I'm looking forward to the new year (only one month left...eek!) and the new adventures that come with it!

Yeah, most people like GF but are not sure about staying there. Like you said though you never know...I may end up staying there one day as well I hope you get to eat at 1900 PF on a future trip as it sure was a great meal.

So after we had returned to Pop and rested we got ready to explore the resort and head to a park to watch a nighttime show.

Now those of you that read my PTR know I had a list of things going that I had wanted to do at Pop...now let me tell you that list was soo ambitious!!! Those of you who thought so on seeing the list were accurate. Now had this been my second or third trip to the World I probably would've been able to accomplish the list but as it was I wanted to spend lots of time in the parks. However, we did get through some of the list. I will review it at the end of my TR but in the meantime I will share the photos we took whilst wondering the resort:

You see that yellow cone in the corner...well it was a wet floor sign which I think lived in that corner. This was right outside our room so we have lots of pics of the yellow 'wet floor' cone!

These are the stairs we climbed on a daily basis...when we didn't take the lazy route of getting a lift! I love the bowling pins.

I'm not sure if you can see this in the next photo but I'm standing directly under the year I was born.

We did manage to spend some time in the arcade to use some of the free points we got with our package.

Zaheer played a racing game for 75 points - I didn't see the appeal of it myself but then am not a huge fan of arcade games.

We were hoping to head to Epcot but it was raining so we decided to spend some time in the shop.

I loved the Christmas baubles that were available.

After a little while browsing the rain had stopped so we got a bus to Epcot. We were hoping to eat in one of the countries. I wanted to try Lotus Blossom Cafe but Zaheer wanted to try Tangierine Cafe. After some persuasion I admitted defeat and we headed to Morocco.

We took some pretty shots along the way.

I loved seeing the Illuminations globe and was looking forward to seeing it in the show later.

When going past Canada we noticed Off Kilter were playing. As we hadn't spent much time in this pavillion yet we decided to stop and listen to some music - they were pretty good.

Pretty Canadian gardens:

We made our way to Morocco, got the vegetarian platter and sat down to eat. I took one bite and did not enjoy this at all. It just wasn't my type of food. I thought of what I could do. It was too far to head to Lotus Blossom Cafe now however I knew I wanted some nice food. After thinking for a minute or so I decided I was going to use a snack credit to get some chips as I could always rely on them to make me feel happy. So, I left Zaheer chomping on his food and headed to UK. We decided to meet back in France as that is where we would be watching Illuminations.

I'm afraid I don't have any pics of my UK visit as Zaheer had the camera however it was soo nice to hear a UK accent and be able to eat some yummy chips! Once I had smothered them in ketchup (which I absolutely love!!) I walked back to France eating my warm chips which made me a very happy girl. Once I got there I waited for Zaheer by the fountain who took his time getting there. He had decided to explore Morocco and take some more photos of the pretty pavillion.

We watched my favourite nighttime show once again - ILLUMINATIONS!!!

We didn't take any pics but noticed the show was a bit short today...compared to the other times we had seen it. I guess the earlier rain may have something to do with it. I still had a great time though.

We decided to walk very fast to the bus stop to avoid the rush and as a result only waited 5 minutes!!

Once we reached Pop we took some nighttime shots of the resort. I find it funny how all the big icons make me look tiny! Just see for yourself...

I seem to have shrunk considerably!

Once we got to our room I watched a bit of The Princess Diaries 2 before going to sleep.

Coming next: Fun at Disney Quest and would we watch Fantasmic?

Sorry you didn't care for dinner, but I'm glad you got some chips. I have decided to try the fish and chips for lunch in December. Right now I have a reservation at Rose & Crown, which I love, but to save time I think I am just going to get the F&C at the window!

I love when people take photos of the resort -- especially resorts I've never been too. It's nice to see what they look like.

You got some really great shots at Epcot. Too bad Zaheer won the battle of where to eat...as you and I both know that you and I were not pleased with Tangierene Cafe (I spelled that wrong...but don't want to go find the right spelling ).

Glad you got to see Illimunations a second time.

I had wanted to wander around POP as well, but it never really happened. On our last morning, Kadence and I did a 10 minutes walk to the computer pool and back, but thatg was all besides the first nights swimming in the 2 other pools.

I think I'd need the parks to close for the day in order for me to spend more time at the hotel!

Wonderful shots at Pop--you do look teeny, tiny! (Then, again, you seem tiny to me anyway- you cute little petite thing you! You are petite, aren't you? )

I am excited to take pictures at Pop soon! I think the colors there will make amazing shots...the only problem is we arrive at night and are headed to the Studios at 7 the next morning. I wonder what time sunrise is in FL in Dec. I will have to research that!

Great Epcot and Pop pics. I love that resort, so many great photo ops! I stayed there in 2004 and I remember taking lots of pics around the resort, Did you get to see Mr and Mrs Potato head and the giant Twister game?

Great shots around Pop! When we stayed there in 2005 and 2006 we too used those stairs everyday!
It's such a great resort with so much to see!

I have never eaten at Morocco, but it never has sounded like something that really appealed to me. Now the pavilion itself, is beautiful!!

Sorry for the late replies everyone but had a night out with the girls on Friday and then it was my mums birthday this week so spent Saturday celebrating it with the family.

Thanks, we loved exploring Pop and taking all the pics! I have to agree with it having lots of eye candy...I loved all the huge icons we saw and wished we had spent more time looking around the other sections as well.

I hope you really enjoy your Fish and chips when you get them in 9 days!!! Can't wait to hear if you decide to keep your reservation or just get them at the window.

LOL I can understand where you are coming from as I felt the same way before our visit! However, they are not that bad apart from they make you seem shorter than what you are which isn't a good thing when you are 5ft to start with!!

Pop was soo much fun and I would love to stay there again one day to take in more of what the resort has to offer.

Yay, I wish I had put up more of a fight as I knew I wouldn't have liked the food but oh well...you live and learn!! Tangierine Cafe sure is hard to spell...took me a while to get used to it!!!

I was glad we got to see Illuminations again as well.

It was tricky to spend time around POP though I wish we had explored it a bit more on one of our days away from the park. It is so spread out that you sure need plenty of time to get to see everything. We never got to see any of the 80s or 90s section...oh well maybe next time!

Haha yeah that sure needs to happen though I think even then we would find excuses to do other things!

I love Epcot!! Morocco is such a pretty pavilion...my family went there on holiday last year. I was a bit jealous when I saw the snaps but feel a bit better having spent some time at the pavillion in Epcot! I could happily wtach Illuminations every night of the week...it would be a great way to end a day!

Thanks Debby...haha I noticed that straight away!!! If there is a downside to staying at Pop then that is it! Yes, I'm definitely a petite little thing (exactly 5ft) which is an issue when I buy clothes that are not available in petite sizing...luckily my mum can sew pretty well and hems jeans etc up for me.

Not long to go until you stay at Pop! Can't wait to see your amazing shots. Hope you have found out what time sunrise in FL is in Dec...we found that the camera lens fogged up in the mornings so tried to take shots in the afternoon/evening instead.

Thanks - I love Pop as well especially as it is the first Disney resort I have stayed at Unfortunately we never made it round to see Mr and Mrs Potato Head and the giant twister game even though they were on the list
