'Where's your prince' and will this tale end 'happily ever after'? Sept 11 - Complete

I would have been nervous too if the very first time I rode Tower of Terror was by myself.

Don't you just love the Mickey waffles? I love them. You're right, with syrup they're perfect.

Yummy cupcakes. I'm sorry you didn't get a butterfinger one. I heard that you have to get there really early to get some.

The very first time I ever rode ToT, I too was by myself. We had just finished watching Fantasmic which was brand new (1998) and there was no way Jasmine would go on with me (she had just turned 6 and hadn't found her ride mojo yet) and Geodoc and Peg chickened out too!

I haven't seen the Indy show in quite a few years and I have only ever seen it once! Those cupcakes look heavenly and I love red velvet!:lovestruc

BATB....I could watch that presentation over and over again:lovestruc

ToT alone! Good for you!! I love that ride!!

Glad you enjoyed the B&B show. It's really nice isn't it?

Great update! I love the Beauty and the Beast show! I do not however, love TOT!! I have been on it once and that was enough!

Sorry you didn't get a Butterfinger Cupcake although the Red Velvet one looked yummy. What are the little crumbles on the top edges? I have seen pics of it on here and have been wondering.

Cupcakes for lunch? You guys are my kind of people!:lmao:

I like the gold dress Belle wears in the show so much better than the yellow one she wears for meet and greets. I wonder why they're different.

I'm glad you like TOT...I rode it once and just couldn't handle not knowing when the drops were coming. It's a shame though because the ride is so well done and has amazing details!

I'm glad you enjoyed TOT! I was really afraid my first time (I sat there holding onto the bars the whole ride) but now it is one of my favorites. Such a great ride. :thumbsup2

Wow, that is weird they didn't have any of the butterfinger cupcakes. You'll have to try it next time-it is so good!

Glad you enjoyed your dinner at Chefs, looked yummy. You must try it for lunch next time so you can see Remy, he is just too darn cute :)

Great DHS day, ToT is the best :teeth: What was your fav part of that day?

So glad you rode ToT! It's one of my favorites! The theming in there is just so fantastic. How nice that the queue for Toy Story was not bad and that nice CM gave you FPs.

Any luck with the job hunt? Will you be able to book a trip for next year yet or is that still up in the air?

Yay!!! Glad you rode ToT!!!! But sorry you had to go alone! How scary! :scared1: I'm glad you liked Beauty and the Beast too! I love that stage show! :thumbsup2 Those cupcakes sure look yummy!!!

I suck on Toy Story Midway Mania. I lose every single time!
I adore Beauty and the Beast! I was so sad I missed it this year :(
I can't believe you rode ToT by yourself! I was almost paralyzed with fear going on with 5 people!
I could go for some Starring Rolls cupcakes right now...

I was the same with some other rides as well and felt bad when I noticed kids half my size waiting to go on with excitement! :lmao: It was better once I knew what was going to happen.

Mmm Mickey waffles sure are the best! My favourite! :thumbsup2 I saw the waffle toaster and wanted to buy it but knowing my culinary skills they wouldn't turn out the same.

That's probably true about the butterfinger cupcakes and as you can tell we are certainly not morning people!

I'm glad to hear that I was not the only one to go through riding ToT alone for my first time. Oh no on Jasmine not wanting to try it though I don't blame her. I don't think I would've been too keen to go on ToT at 6 years old! Though it amazed me seeing some of the kids in the queue for the thrill rides.

The indy show was good and I probably wouldn't have seen it if I was by myself either. It is definitely a show for the lads :lmao: I have to agree - the red velvet cupcake is so lush :lovestruc Every time I write about it I want one!

BATB is simply amazing - I knew I would enjoy it but didn't expect it to be that good. I have to agree in that I could happily watch it again and again and again...

ToT alone! Good for you!! I love that ride!!

Glad you enjoyed the B&B show. It's really nice isn't it?

Thanks! I was proud of myself as well!! I love that ride - it is great!

The B&TB show is awesome! :lovestruc I love how much details goes into each show.

Thanks! I love the show as well! Oh no on not being in love with ToT. Are you a big fan of RnRC then? I think I have noticed that you either love one or the other. Some people do enjoy both but not many.

I do manage to try one during this trip but just not on this day. Okay I had to go back and look at the pic to see what you were referring to. There were choc chip pieces and a topping underneath that - it looks similar to the butter finger topping but I couldn't say for sure. Maybe someone else could shed some light?

:rotfl2: Well there were no vegetarian sandwiches and we didn't feel like trekking else where so just made the best of the situation!

I like that dress Belle wears in the show as well and have to agree in that it is much better than the yellow one for meet and greets. Ooh I wonder why they are not the same?

I remember you mentioning that on my PTR. I guess we all have our favourites and the ones we'd rather stay away from. At least you rode ToT once and gave it a shot :thumbsup2

Wow, that is weird they didn't have any of the butterfinger cupcakes. You'll have to try it next time-it is so good!

Thanks! Lol I was the same - I think I was clutching onto the bars so hard and didn't let go until I felt comfortable! I felt loads better second time round.

That was wierd but it gave me a chance to try the red velvet cupcake instead. I do get to try the butter finger cupcake later on.

Glad you enjoyed your dinner at Chefs, looked yummy. You must try it for lunch next time so you can see Remy, he is just too darn cute :)

Great DHS day, ToT is the best :teeth: What was your fav part of that day?

Yay, happy to see you on here. I am waiting patiently for your TR hun!

I will definitely be making a lunch reservation in the future so I can meet Remy. I have seen him on some TRs and have to agree he looks very cute :)

ToT sure is a great ride! :thumbsup2 I think my favourite was seeing all the shows and being able to relax a bit. We had been all 'go, go, go' the last few days that it was nice to take it easy for a change :)

So glad you rode ToT! It's one of my favorites! The theming in there is just so fantastic. How nice that the queue for Toy Story was not bad and that nice CM gave you FPs.

Any luck with the job hunt? Will you be able to book a trip for next year yet or is that still up in the air?

I was glad I went on it as well! I have to agree in that the theming is awesome and the way every little detail is thought of is great. That was nice of the CM to change our FPs for us. I was worried especially with not leaving until gone 11 but luckily the low crowd season paid off. This is why I do not want to go during a busy period.

Job hunt is still ongoing. I have been doing some supply teaching and have applied for a couple of jobs. It's still in the air for now. I will probably need to book by mid November to take up the offer available to UK residents. I'm hoping to talk a friend into coming with me as otherwise it'll be a solo trip. I will share as soon as I know more.

Btw I'm loving your tickers and am slightly jealous! :lmao:

Yay!!! I was so proud of myself afterwards! That was scary and waiting beforehand did not help! I started speaking with a 5/6 year old boy behind me and thought if he can do it so can I! It was still scary though. Beauty and the Beast was my favourite show at DHS - I loved it and could watch it again and again! Trust me - they were very yummy! :lovestruc

At least I'm not alone! :lmao: I knew I was going to lose before even getting into the car. I felt better second time round because Zaheer did not get the highest score of the vehicle - he wasn't happy about that! Don't worry, it wasn't me though - no miracles happening on that count.
Oh no on missing Beauty and the Beast this time round - it sure was amazing! :lovestruc
 that makes me feel better! If you had seen me in the queue the fear would have shown in my face however once I had experienced it once I felt much calmer about the ride.
You and me both...

I love both! Did you go on Rockin Roller Coaster? You didn't say?

I'm hunting for a job also, and it is just so frustrating. I hope you get something soon :)

That would be great if your friend could go with you :) But a solo trip is also wonderful. Zaheer wouldn't be able to go?

Thanks about the tickers. I joined DVC this year, otherwise there would be no way I could go on that many trips. It's always only been one trip a year, or no trips a year. Now it seems all I think about is vacations :rotfl:

Hooray TOT!!! The details in the queue are amazing. I don't love the ride, but my dh and girls do. I don't mind riding it since I get to see look for new details each time we enter the Hotel!

Good thinking asking about the fastpasses with your dinner reservation! I can't wait to hear about dinner...

Good luck with the job search. :wizard:

The TSM queue looks so cute, someday I'll have the patience to wait in it!

Love your Beauty and the Beast pics, it looks like a fun show!

Wow, you are brave going on Tot alone for the first time! :thumbsup2 Isn't it the best ride ever?

Yay on being a lover of both attractions! I could be mean and make you wait to find out but I'm in a generous mood today so will tell you that no I did not ride RnRC :sad2: I would've done if someone had been prepared to come on it with me - teekathepony (Wendy) did offer but we were never in the park on the same day. I do not do well on upside down loops so there was no way I was riding it alone.

Aaw in that case good luck - I can understand only too well how frustrating it can be to spend ages on an application form only to not hear a thing from the company/organisation! I have found a couple of more jobs that I am going to apply for and see how it goes :)

Yeah, a solo trip or one with a friend sounds good to me as well! Zaheer wants to visit his family so no he will not be returning next year.

:woohoo: on joining DVC!!! In that case you have to make the most of it and of course it is natural to think of nothing but vacations!! :rotfl2:

Yay!!! I love that ride and have to agree in that the details in the queue are quite a treat. Oh no on not liking the ride but at least you go in the elevator for your dh and girls - Zaheer went in the queue and then went down in the service elevator

Dinner will be coming up soon. You'll want to hear about it especially as you have just booked an ADR for the place. I hope to have it up by the weekend at the latest.

Aaw thank you - am still searching and there are times when I get a bit down about not even hearing back but am just keeping positive...hopefully the end result will be worthwhile :thumbsup2

Oh, I hope you get to go in the queue one day as it is so pretty and makes the wait time go really fast! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I loved that show and wish I could watch it on a daily basis.

I know, I was soo nervous waiting in the queue but yes it is the best ride ever and I am soo happy that I was brave enough to ride it!

I just finished catching up on your TR.
I'm glad the character spot was so much fun; Chip and Dale and Donald are my favorites, so it was nice to see you enjoyed them as well.
Kudos to you for enjoying ToT, sounds like you had a blast!:thumbsup2
Those cupcakes at Starring Rolls are delicious! However, they're so big I always have to split them with someone else.

Oh No! Yet another excuse to get back to Disney! :) I was able to get my mother on this one, and she doesn't do roller coasters at all, but she was willing to do everything once. She came out grinning from ear to ear! Now on our upcoming trip she says she can skip it, I think she forgot how much she enjoyed RnRC.

I am just catching up on your report!! I missed a lot while I was gone, lots of good stuff to read :goodvibes
