Where's your next vacation destination?

So do we DISers do anything but Disney for vacation?? Well, I have to because financially I can't afford to go to Disney whenever I feel like it, so that's why I visit as I do. Every 5 years or so.

My next destination is Atlanta and Stone Mountain GA. DH and I are celebrating our 14th in Atlanta by visiting the Zoo Atlanta and then I'm taking him to see the Stone Mountain Laser Show. Awesome event!!! The laser show....AWESOME!!

I just wish we had something planned sooner, but with Ivan and getting back on our feet financially, it's better to shoot for May. I'll have plenty saved by then anyway.

So how about the rest of you..where are you shooting for on your next vacation?

We have a trip to Savannah, GA scheduled for 10/9 and then I go to Orlando on 10/16 and then in November we go to Tucson, AZ and then we go to Texas for Christmas.

We're going to FL over spring break, but not Disney. We're visiting DH's parents in Ft. Myers where they spend 3 months a year and then visiting my grandparent's who live near Tampa. We may try to sneak in a trip to SeaWorld because none of us have ever been and on our next Disney trip we won't have time.

Well my next 3 vacations at least are planned for 2005 and they are all short trips to Disneyworld.

In May of 2006 and I will be going to Colorado, New Mexico and Utah for 9 days.

After that, who knows, but we've talked about going to Las Vegas, South Dakota, Disneyland in CA, and New Orleans as well.

I would not mind visiting Scotland and Ireland someday either.

Well, I'm going on up to the mountains on Saturday for the long weekend, but I don't consider that a vacation. My next real vacation is to WDW next month. And I'm going to Las Vegas in April with a bunch of friends (we have a different destination every year).

OW!!! That makes my head hurt....all that travelling you're doing and all over the country too!!

I keep switching where I want to go. I put off my Disney vacation because of those darn storms.

Now a group of my friends want to go to South Carolina and I kind of want to go to. I'm also hoping that the guy that I'm dating will want to go somewhere in the future. So I'm trying to keep my options open, lol!

I’m fortunate to take a vacation twice a year. Fall 04 WDW – Spring 05 Santa Fe, NM – Fall 05 Ireland. Just a warning to all… every two years we have had some thing that’s effected our fall vacations: 1999 WDW and Floyd, 2001 England & 9/11, 2003 Washington DC and Izabel.

We are going on two "trips" to the midwest, Nebraska. They are "trips" and not "vacations" because they are to visit the family. One trip for Thanksgiving, one for Christmas. Then we are moving....overseas...to Doha, Qatar. Yes, the middle east, but very safe I guess our next official vacation will be to Paris, and Disneyland Paris, in March for Spring Break. If we are lucky maybe we can squeeze in a weekend vacation to another middle eastern country before the big Paris vacation.

I'm going to Alabama for Thanksgiving--although that's not really a vacation, but a family gathering.

I'm planning a WDW trip next and then.....

WDW, July 24-30 2005! We always go to FL every year to visit family (and make a quick trip to WDW), but this year we are taking a REAL vacation and spending only 1 day with our family and the rest doing things together! I talked to my BF(best-friend) and they are going with us (they have never been ). We just put the deposit down on a vacation home today so I will be haunting the planning boards gathering intel from now on LOL!
Living 30 miles from Canada, we do visit there, but since it is a "day" trip I don't count that as a vacation.
