Where's the Lime???? Sept. 2006

:cool1: So glad Leo likes coasters! BTMRR was the first "big" coaster we took our DS on and he loved it! Just this last trip he got to do SM for the first time. I was a little nervous as he'd be sitting by himself without DM or DD next to him, but he loved it! Now his all time favorite WDW ride is RnRC. Bring it on! :bounce:

And not just little ones - there was a lady behind us one time screaming "GET ME OFF! GET ME OFF!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!"

It sounds like the same woman that was on DisUncs flight to Orlando... :rotfl: Maybe she graduated to roller coasters. I'm glad your little boy loved it. I cant wait to see if you get to ride Thunder Mtn again. I'm sorry you didn't get to meet up with Umama at CR. She did give out some yummy treats and they weren't smushed zebra domes! :teeth:

I'm so glad Leo enjoyed his first coaster! So sorry about the hives though. At least you were smart enough to figure it out! Well you will just have to go the the steak house the NEXT time! :thumbsup2

Excellent news, this is very encouraging! I RnRC is one of my very favorite non-wooden coasters. I haven't been able to ride it in years, but I'm heading to WDW soon to meet up with some folks at the Food & Wine Fest wihtout DS, so I may just have to sneak some coasters in!

Yeah, I was about to add Concourse Steak to our Dec ADR's, until I read UM's report about Norah and the cookie painting. Not sure I want to try my luck...

Great installment, as usual! :thumbsup2
I truely admire you for conquering the world with a toddler!
Hives can be scary! I'm so glad it wasn't anything too serious!

Waiting for more trippie... popcorn::

Thanks! I have to say, doing WDW on my own with him wasn't nearly as scary or difficult as I thought it might be. He was MUCH better behaved than I expected. Save for the occasional freak out, but that one's easy to handle - we really do live close enough that "If you don't stop right now, we'll get in the car and go home!" works! :thumbsup2

Thanks for hanging in there with me! Can you believe how long I'm taking for a little ol' weekend trip?? :confused3 At this rate, my week in Dec. will take on epic proportions.

Thanks! It's coming, I promise. Have to do some school work, first, though. Funny thing is, some of my school work IS a TR. I have to keep a journal for a French course, so I'm using it as a TR in French on last year's trip to Paris. Let me tell you, it's tough writing a TR without an active audience, so I have even more appreciation for my DIS TR buddies! :grouphug:

Okay, still waiting for an update. ;) I just went back to grad school this summer. I am getting it online and it is like taking courses on speed. I will get 36 hrs in 18 months. I have a big project due tomorrow, but guess what I am doing instead :confused3
It's like if you turn on the computer, it automatically goes to the Dis - go figure!

Sorry - ran out of time yesterday. Maybe today....
True that! I've stopped short of making the DIS my homepge, but does it make a difference? Nope, still the first place I visit. :sad2:

I will properly prepare my hiney for long periods of sitting and reading! :rotfl2:

Excellent TR PincessV. :surfweb:
:cheer2: Iam also in College. 38 and back at it. I'm supposed to be researching ADHD right now but alas I am not. I love how you write and can't wait for our DFam's to meet in Dec. My DD's rode Goofy's Barnstormer and came off to say they would never ride that one agian!! So much for R&R at MGM with me. Thank goodness there's singles line!

WOW!!! 10 pages so far on the weekened report and we aren't DONE!!! Awesome! I love details, love long trippies and this one is a great read..I started before I eflt for vacation and picked back up . I should really be working on mine right now but since I did WDW in 2004 with my then 4 year old alone for 2 days I totally get you. I am being brought back to my trip way back when. We though, stayed at Pop and it was my first time onsite, so imagine my nerves.

Keep it coming!

Thank you! Absolutely, Dec. here we come! :moped:
Here's the flip side to DS becoming a coaster fan - he's still too short to ride Space Mtn. So Mommy may have a tough time getting on that one without a meltdown forma certain someone. :rolleyes1
