where's the best place to stay at SSR?

we're using out DP in September and the booking window is this week. We've never been to SSR before, so I am trying to figure out what to request for a location. It will be me, DH and another couple in a a 2 bedroom--no kiddies. We won't be spending much time at the pool, but 3 of us smoke, so it might be good to be close to a pool bar. DH and I also like to take advantage of refillable mugs, so it would be good to be close to the CS restaurant. I think these 2 will take precedent over proximity to a bus stop or proximity to DTD. Any suggestions on section, or even room numbers? Also, what about the THV? Are they removed from everything? I can't seem to figure out where they are on the SSR property.

we always request Springs when we stay at SSR - walking distance to pool and everything.

I've stayed at springs and carousel (prefer the springs). But I've never stayed at grand stand- that would be by first choice next time around. FIFO- first stop at bus in and first to get out coming back.
