Wheres my refund question

Mine still says 24th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath .

Mine turned into saying the exact same thing this am. I waited on hold for about 25 minutes, verified some info, and the lady said my refund should be deposited on the 20th!! I asked why I needed to call and she told me that I was the second person this am she had spoken to with the same message. She said something must be wrong with their system. I am just glad nothing was wrong with my return.

Mine changed from the 20th to the 24th. I sure hope it doesn't change again.

Mine was supposed to be deposited by the 17th, it now has the message that all of you are getting. I have tried to call and it will say all representatives are busy and hang up. I am beyond frustrated. I have a friend who works at my bank and she says there is nothing in the "warehouse" today either. It is not that i "need" this money for something but I get paranoid it is somewhere else and it is my money. Please post if you get any additional info for those of you who should have gotten yours on the 17th.

My thing is now you cannot call the IRS and get a live person. You cannot even call your local office anymore. IRS is not taking phone calls anywhere

I totally feel you on this one!! Now DH and I did ours the same day and he got his and I don't have mine. Since we got married late last year, we filed seperately. I've been trying to call H&R Block because I have mine going on that emerald card. This money was needed like yesterday. I'm using part of my refund to pay for this trip!!! And we leave in a little over two weeks!!!!

For all you who have a reference code 1301 on your Where's my refund message.. looks like it is a delay code...I found this:

1301 Fact of Filing Electronic return received more than 3 weeks ago; no other information See IRM 21.4.1.3.1.2, Return Found/Not Processed


Not sure how reliable that info is..but it makes sense that they are just behind, so everything is being delayed. I filed no special forms, and no math mistakes..no reason for it to be later than it originally stated (Feb 17th).

Check the reply here at 8:49am by maenzoe. They may have had the same code because theirs was supposed to I believe have been deposited on the 17 but wasnt. Maenzoe called the irs this morn and waited about 25 min and spoke to a rep who said the automated system was screwed up but checked further and said their deposit would be made this Fri. Just checked ours again and its holding solid to the 24th.

I finally got through and really know nothing more than I did. The lady was really nice. She said there were no errors or problems with my account. She said to look for my deposit by March 2. Then, she said really look for it over the next week and if it is not there call back. So, I am thinking it may have said sooner but she would not committ to that because march 2 is over a week away. i dont know, I really wish they would get their story straight.

Tell them you got ref number 1310. they will ask you to verify some info then tell you what is up. He says mine is good to go and I will have it friday.. fingers crossed

Mine was saying by February 24th and now states March 3rd. According to the efile schedule, I'm suppose to receive it this Friday the 20th so I guess we'll see.

I filed E-file on February 4th ( 2 weeks ago) and was told by my tax preparer it would go into my bank on February 20th....However, 72 hours after filing I checked "where's my refund" on the IRS website and it stated February 17th. Then THursday it changed to February 24th!! So, I was very frustrated and finally started calling the IRS on 1-800-829-1040 *462. It took me forever to finally get someone.....and they stated the refund would go into my bank on Friday, the 20th not the 24th. So I really hope she is right!!!!
