Where would you work?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But our family often talks about a fun topic-where would you want to work in WDW? It's a fun conversation & I'm sure we're not the only ones to dream about it. Just curious what everyone else thinks. I want to be a concierge or front desk employee at the Contemporary. I think it'd be fun to greet guests just arriving & spread magic. As much as I love MK, I'm afraid being there all the time would ruin some of the magic for me when we did visit the park. My DH wants to drive a resort/park boat to be on the water. My DD14 wants to be a park photographer or a life guard. And our DS11 wants to work in Tower of Terror. He thinks the CM's there are so funny how they're creepy. Where would you love to work??

IT division. I would fix every glitch in every system!

I would love to Drive any of the watercraft at disney. I would also love to be a tour guide.

The hippo water tank at AK (they are my spirit animal)...or driving the boats would be cool...or the VIP tour guides

My DD would like to be a face character....but she's too tall.
She also says she'd like to be a Skipper on Jungle Cruise.

I think being one of the CMs at Belle's Cottage would be fun.

Skipper on the jungle cruise would be awesome. :) I would like to be a photo pass photographer. Love to capture people's happy moments.

Jungle Cruise Skipper is my dream job.

At my niece's kindergarten graduation, she said she wanted to be a face painter at Disney.

My soon-to-be seventh grade daughter wants to be a fashion designer and work in the shop you see while you are on the backlot tour.

My mom and I were just talking about working at WDW. I would want to be part of the team who plans and executes the special events! I love planning events and its part of my current job so planning the Food & Wine, MNSSHP etc would be a dream job!

We talk about this too! The husband wants to retire from the Army and do security for Disney someday (boring IMO, but that's his choice and he's sticking to it). My girls say they want to either be princesses or Mousekeepers so they can learn how to make towel animals. I would be a skipper on Jungle Cruise in a heartbeat.

I've considered becoming a bus driver (early shift so I can get all those excited kids to the magic!) or a water craft driver.
I have a long time retail background but could never work retail at Disney.

At Disneyland, I'd love to work at Storybook Canal boats and show kids all the cute little houses.

Haunted Mansion or Tower of Terror, absolutely. In my wildest dreams, I think I'd make a good Anastasia, Drisella, Snow White, or Tinkerbell. But, I'm not energetic enough to be a face character. All that smiling!

Also, I firmly believe there should be a Disney World museum, to house and protect all the wonders of Disney past (costumes, park maps, tickets, pieces, videos, signs, and memorabilia from old rides and shows, etc). I have an MA in Museum Collections, and I'd love to work in such a place.

I can't turn the teacher in me off. So I would choose to work with Disney's YES program... though I'm not sure which, if any, of their classes would fit into my background as a math teacher.

CM at Haunted Mansion. I already do a little improvised schtick to my DW when on the outside queue.

Or Monorail conductor. Bringing hundreds of people to their magical destination seems pretty cool.

I'd love to be one of the people who decorate the parks, especially for Halloween and Christmas.

After 18+ years in the military I have seriously thought about going to work everyday at the happiest place on earth. I've done IT for my entire 18 years, and that would be an obvious choice for me. But I would also love Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, or a CM that gets to pick random people for acts of random Disney Magic!
:cool1:

For me it's being a driver for the Safari ride located in the Animal Kingdom.

I was just going to say this! seems like fun although it must get hot in those vehicles this time of year.

I would avoid the hotels at all costs! Maybe I'm bias because I have worked in a hotel before, but it's definitely not fun. The front desk/concierge is the worst.

I'd probably prefer an office job at Disney. Still around Disney stuff all day, out of the heat, and no park overkill so you ruin it for yourself!

I'd be happy driving the DVC van that brings people from their hotel to the preview center at SSR. As a member since 1995 I know the product and would love to chat with the guests as we head over there.
