Where would you work?

Growing up I always dreamed of being one of the characters (not surprisingly), but now I would pick being a Disney Imagineer!

Since I am an accountant, but also do community theater as an actress and costume designer ... this is a tough one.

I think my first choice would be in mid-level management of the creative end of things such as entertainment. I would love to manage a production or show at HS.

i would love to work in imagineering. since i am an architect i would love to work for Disney and create some new and exciting attractions

Well, given the news lately, I guess my wish to do Photopass or Front Desk is a bad career choice, lol. And given how much more can be done online for making reservations, I guess that's not the best choice either.

Ok...I'm not blonde, but I'd be willing to wear a wig and substitute for Elsa when she's not feeling good. Think any kid would complain about a 50 year old Elsa?

I wouldn't even have to be in a park, I'd be happy working at one of the resorts really. Either in one of the dine with characters breakfasts or just making rooms Disney magical!

For as long as I can remember my dream job has been as an Imagineer. If not that, I'd work in the greenhouses or on the Behind the Seeds tour at Epcot.

As a locomotive engineer for the railroad now, I would be working at the WDW Railroad!:cool1:

CEO... I know I could probably do it better than the current occupant.

Yet really no job at WDW. I don't think I would enjoy any of the jobs, just let it be a place I vacation at, I don't want to know the "inner workings

Sorry I am going to one up you:
50.1% MAJORITY STOCK HOLDER

I could pretty much unilaterally decide anything I wanted.

Haunted Mansion for me!

It'd be like being at the gym all day walking along that moving floor - what a way to get fit!

To work at Disney I would even be the person who cleans up after the horse's on Main Street.:lmao:

Or since I've worked part time in retail for 23 years I would like to work in one of the gift shops in any of the Resorts.

I have a Mechanical Engineering degree... I would LOVE to be a Disney Imagineer!!!!
Unfortunately, I am tied to living on our family farm so I doubt it could ever come true, but I have dream about it since before I graduated (25 years ago)!

IMAGINEER!!!

I've wanted to be an Imagineer forever.... It really is my dream job.
I'm an Electrical Engineer in the "real world" ....I would LOVE the oportunity to become an imagineer....sighhh :cloud9::lovestruc

I love reading how different we all are!

I would like to work anywhere in a/c, maybe in a shop or restaurant or at guest services. In my retail days, I enjoyed solving problems. I have 5 more years before retirement and think about moving down to near WDW often.

I've always wanted to be one of the landscape designers. Working around those beautiful gardens everyday? Let's see them automate THAT!

Hmm, maybe they could shuffle the monorail drivers, photographers and front desk CMs over to the gardening dept.

I'd work in the greenhouse/landscaping. It would be a lot of fun to get to work with all the flowers and the topiaries etc especially during the festivals at EPCOT.

A couple years ago, I was contacted by a recruiter for a software developer job for a "major theme park operator in Orlando". Even though DW would probably never agree to move to Florida, I was intrigued. I assumed it was Disney or Universal, either of which would have been pretty cool. Turns out, it was for Sea World.

Even though I love WDW, I don't think I would want to work in the parks every day. I just think it would make it a less enjoyable place to visit.

I would love to work on developing new attractions, but it would have to be a supporting role. I'm not creative enough to be the one who comes up with the concepts.

If I'm going to dream, I'll dream big. I pick Chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. That person is in charge of all parks and resorts and their development. I would take that job in a heartbeat.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But our family often talks about a fun topic-where would you want to work in WDW? It's a fun conversation & I'm sure we're not the only ones to dream about it. Just curious what everyone else thinks. I want to be a concierge or front desk employee at the Contemporary. I think it'd be fun to greet guests just arriving & spread magic. As much as I love MK, I'm afraid being there all the time would ruin some of the magic for me when we did visit the park. My DH wants to drive a resort/park boat to be on the water. My DD14 wants to be a park photographer or a life guard. And our DS11 wants to work in Tower of Terror. He thinks the CM's there are so funny how they're creepy. Where would you love to work??

Would love to be a character. I would love to see the kids faces when they saw "Mickey" or whoever I was.

DH wants to drive the boats and I would love to work the front desk or Club level at any of the Deluxe resorts! One can dream!
