Yes, I'm going with *that* option and I'm ecstatic. The offer to make a reservation for my family truly came from out of the blue and from a total stranger. I'm still in shock and keep reading the confirmation over and over. To be able to share this experience with my family is so meaningful. Dinner time is a nightly-sit-around-the-table ritual for us and this is going to rock!
DH's birthday is less than a week before so I'm going to surprise him and the kids. This is truly so unexpected and I agree, I have been lucky enough to meet some very wonderful people on the DIS. I met one of my best girlfriends here and we've been great friends ever since, that was in 2007. Our families have vacationed together several times. Kids, hubbies, we all have so much fun together.
We're doing just this one commando day at the parks so a lovely relaxed sit down meal sounds perfect. In fact it prompted me to use some
DVC points and get a room at the
Disneyland Hotel so we can have a midday break. I want us all to really appreciate and experience dinner so what better way than after a nice swim and nap? After our long night, instead of driving back to my friends, we'll get to sleep with the amazing light up headboards at the DLH.
You just never know when kindness will show itself.

I've been shown some incredible kindnesses lately and am grateful.
Anyone know where I can find good dinner threads or photos? I'm freaking out and so glad I only have to keep it a secret from my whole family for another two weeks.

My middle DD is a huge Walt Disney fans, she reads all kinds of biographies on him and she's going to flip. I can't wait for the reveal.
I appreciate everyone's input on where to eat and one day I'll get to try Napa, Carthay, and Steakhouse 55.
