Where would a boy hide his underwear??

LOL! We leave tomorrow morning (7:30 a.m. flight) !! This trip is a surprise for my kids. I arranged for them to go to a friend's house today so I could pack and store the bags in my closet.

Well, there was NO underwear in my 8 yo's drawer. Where is it?? I KNOW I did laundry just yesterday and there were at least 6 clean pairs then. I remember asking him to take his stack of laundry to his bedroom and put it away. Well, OBVIOUSLY he didn't do what I asked! I checked all his drawers thinking maybe he just rushed and threw it all into one drawer - nope! Checked his closet....checked under his bed... No underwear still!! I've now gone through the rest of the house and can't find it! What would an 8 yo boy do with his underwear?????????? LOL! I don't know whether to laugh or scream!

I just thought I'd share. I'm really not asking for help in locating his underwear... though I haven't checked the basement yet. hmmmm....

I say just go to walmart and buy new underwear. Then once you get to WDW ask him what the heck he did with them.

They're probably off socializing with my DD7's undies and my DFiance's socks, neither or which are ever where they're supposed to be- forcing me to buy DD and DFiance enough socks and undies to clothe an army (at least partially clothe, anyway ).

Did you check the hamper? My daughter did that one time. Stack of clean undies and socks and she went to her room and absentmindedly dumped it all in her closet hamper. And I wonder why I do so much laundry...

My son used to throw them in the laundry basket too. He also used to put his dirty ones back in his drawer. I got a call from his school one day saying he had an accident in his pants and needed new underwear. The spare ones in his backpack were dirty. I was so embarrassed.

Still no underwear..... Thanks for the helpful suggestions though, but no luck with the bed or hamper.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to go buy underwear now. I was out earlier in the day buying T-shirts and boxers for my older sons, thinking my 8 yo was ALL SET for underwear....

He must have all of them on??? That's all I can come up with right now.... Grrr....

haa haa -- sorry needed a good chuckle -- Reminds of an episode of 7th Heaven i just watched where the twins - sam and david - have on 2 pairs of underware cause no body told them to take of the dirty then put on the clean they were told to just get dressed -- boys are just too funny !!! I have an 8 yr old boy too and he hides his dirty ones but never his clean ones altho he does complain that he has none when he does really -- he is a boxer boy but has tighty whiteys in his drawer that he will wear only if he really has too!!!! hope they show up !! My son (10) would kill me if he saw me writing this, but when I would do laundry I would always check between his bed and the wall. Sometimes they were shoved there... he said he takes them off in his sleep, which would explain why he is nude when he wakes up.

Men/boys are such strange creatures!

Let me just say this... I have a DS15, nearly 16, and it just ain't gettin any better I always thought as he got older but it just seems to get worse and worse. Now it seems its easier to go "commando" than it is to get the dirty ones into the hamper So, commando it is

Well mine went through phase that he kept his undies under the bathroom sink in the cabinet - both clean and dirty... seperate stacks.. I think he was about your son's age if I remember right... we had seperate hampers in each bedroom - he would go in for his shower in his underwear - it made perfect sense to him to keep both under the sink.. that way he didn't have to remember to take a clean pair with him...

Whoever said that men/boys are STRANGE creatures got it right.. I live with 3 of them and am the only human female... I've been warped for the rest of my life!!

I remember my son taking the pile of clean and folded laundry that I gave him and dumping it in the hamper because it was easier than putting it away! I was NOT happy.

I am wondering, too, if you found the missing undies yet.

I bought my daugter a new pair of shoes to start the school year. Now we can only find one! We have turned this house upside down, under beds, mixed in the toys, closets, no where to be found.

Maybe her shoe is hiding with the underwear?
