Where would a boy hide his underwear??

My daughter had a large round bin that she use as a clothes hamper. Every week, she would bring it to the laundry room and we would wash her clothes and place them back in the bin for her to put away. The problem was, she didn't put the clothes away. Somehow, she managed to wear the clothes in the hamper, while piling the next week's dirty laundry on top of the clean clothes. Therefore, when the clothes bin was brough to the laundry room, it was layered with dirty clothes on top and clean clothes on the bottom. Thankfully, she is about ready to turn 21 and lives on her own -- doing her own laundry these days.

If he's 8, go ahead and buy him new underwear -- girls underwear and make certain they are pink. That'll teach him to put his clothes away...

THATS EVIL...................I love it :rotfl2:

I'm laughing hysterically & waiting to find out what happened with the underwear. Maybe he packed a bag of toys to take with him to the friends house & put the underwear in there too by mistake. My DS7 always takes a bag of YU-GI-OH toys/cards with him to his friend's house.

Well, I don't have anything new to report! :( Still no underwear!!! I ended up packing the old ratty pairs that he doesn't like to wear because they don't fit right (?) Oh well, live and learn. I bet he never hides his underwear again after this. :)

I managed to get them to bed without them suspecting a thing. :)

Can't wait for 5:30 a.m.!! :)

Thanks for all the undie stories. This has turned out to be a funny thread.

Case of the Missing Undies Goes Unsolved.....

Ok, you better let us know what happened when you get back!! Not about the trip (of course we want to hear about that!) but we need to know about the missing underwear. Please, please let us know. This has me cracking up for some reason.

Note to Self:

When preparing for upcoming October trip make sure to put DS9's underwear away without asking him to be involved in any way, shape, or form. :rotfl2:

This is too funny to me! It must be a boy thing! ???

I ALWAYS have to go out and buy my son several new packages of boxers before we go on any vacations. He never has enough to pack for a weeklong trip. We have gone on 5 trips this year - so that is a lot of new underwear!

His undies also seem to just up and disappear! :confused3 Glad I am not alone in this!! :earboy2:

my guess it is behind dresser....

my son always throws his clothes, dirty or clean behind dresser or bed so he doesn't have to put them away.

funny funny thread :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

hope you have a wonderful vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are leaving tommorow as well and glad to know that DS8's undies are safely packed in the suitcase waiting by the door for tommorow morning ! :earseek:

That is hilarious!!! And I have 2 DS's... ages 21 and 11. Believe me, it doesn't get better as they age! When I read your post, I had to show it to my DD18 (today is her birthday). We both laughed our heads off and agreed that it is something that could easily happen to our boys!
And this is alot like a Nancy Drew mystery!! "The Case of the Missing Undergarments"!!! I also want to know how your trip was, and the answer to the mystery of the year!!!! :earsgirl:

Man am I glad I have girls right now!!! My DDs are 6 and 3 and they beg me to help with the laundry. Right now, they fold towels and the 6yo puts away her clothes. The 3yo puts away her panties and socks, but I am not ready to give up the rest to her!

Currently, all panties are accounted for in our house!

I haven't laughed this hard in years. My son is now 22, and manages to keep his in his drawer, at least most of the time, but I swear I was buying new underwear every week when he was that age. I think he just threw them away instead of putting them in the laundry.....

What is it with males and underwear...just recently with all the back to school sales my dh kept telling me "good price, pick me up a couple packages" - so I picked up 2 packs of 7 - mind you he has at least a dozen in the drawer already. Brought those home - "well it's a really good price, we should get a couple more" So I humoured him and now have purchased 4 - 7 pair packs of underwear and now he wants 2 more. What is he thinking in his head that he will need 50+ pairs of underwear !!!! :confused3

And I thought it was just my household males that are strange - by the way DS4 always go through 2 pairs at a time aftr bathtime - 1 for his butt and 1 for his head!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Love to know where the missing undies show up!!!

Your post gave me a good chuckle! Little boys are never boring, are they? :rotfl:

You can still ask him without noticing anything. Mt DS throws his in the toybox & closet. I leave in a week and kept out 3 pair to keep washing becauseI know they will disappear aswell. Same with the socks. My DD hasmissing socks at the moment.

Are you sure you didn't pack them already? I always start packing weeks and weeks before our trips. In the end, I have to keep a list of what I've packed, otherwise, I'd miss entire categories of clothing. The most famous incident was when we lived in Germany, and drove to EuroDisney. I forgot all of my older DS's underwear! He had to share with his younger brother! I'm sure you know what you've packed, but my DSs have done most of the typical stuff for boys, and this one has me stumped! Please don't forget to update us. We've got so much invested in the outcome! ;)

This thread is hysterical! I have 3 boys, and I am not looking forward to this stuff. All boys sleep sans underwear, just jammies. But so far, the only missing underwear is my DH, go figure!

Did you actually go through each pile of clothing in each drawer? My DS seems to be good at shoving his undies between shirts so if you just look in the drawer you never see them. I would also check other dressers, maybe they got put in the wrong pile.
