Warning more baseball/softball talk:
Yesterday the boys had a make up game.
Matt is becoming quite the batter, 1st time up to bat got the hit- 2nd time up to bat GOT hit, pretty bad. he cried a lot- like a trooper he is- walked it off and took his base. next batter struck out. Zack up Zack hit the BALL! I was so happy for him and he was on cloud NINE! his first game hit! matt was tagged out on third. came into the dug out and was still crying got him a ice pack he was hit in the thigh by a fast pitcher. after a hot chocolate he was BACK and ready. 3rd time Matt up to bat i was afraid he would jump out of the batter box. NOPE another hit!!! WTG MATT!!! next batter struck out. Zack up and he go the walk!!!! I am so proud of my boys they are really getting pretty good for 8 years old.

Tonight is Meg's first game. I hope it RAINS AND RAINS. I need a break from the field. i also need a break from sitting out in the cold. i know i talk up the boys and their games. But they are exciting! I love most of the girls on Meg's team. Not so much the parents. Boys team? Several of the Mom's get along very well. we have a blast! Meg's team? PERSNICKETY!!! just one other Mom i get along with very well and we both feel the same way. The coach only has practice maybe twice a week, sometimes breaks up the team with the better girls and the not so great girls. Meg is NOT into it at all she knows she needs more practice and asked me to play with her. she has even started batting with the boys. she likes softball just not excited about her team, . So now you can see why i am just not into this game tonight. Hopefully it will get better.

I have nothing else to report just i miss all of you!

Yay! 27 DAYS!!!!!

So, I startred packing...or at least planning outfits and shoes. Then I saw all the snow D got yesterday So now I am unpacking and throwing all my winter stuff in the suitcase. Hey, at least the snowpants cushion my gifts I was stressing about transporting!

Bradey had his first T-Ball game last night. They are so freaking cute at that point. And there is no keeping score, they just all get to bat in turn. So it is just pure fun. I get along great with a few of the mom's on the team, but the wicked witch of the PTC that I have been having trouble with is the coach....so that's fun Their first practice, she told me the wrong field just to be a b**ch....I left a family dinner with my 85 year old Grandmother just to make sure we were on time and because we were told the wrong field, we ended up being 15 mins late. Seriously....are we in highschool again??!! It made me mad because that hurt Bradey, not me.

Anyway....over it. Moving on....

No boss at work today, and no manager sitting behind me like usual, so I plan to DIS all day

Tee ball is a darn RIOT! ball get hit about 2 feet from the tee the ENTIRE team runs for it.

Unfortunately, that often happens in Little League. Our boys were on some great teams with some fabulous parents, and some NOT so great teams with some really horrid parents. I was the Team Mom for two teams for six years and I just learned who to not ask for help or anything else. I hope it gets better for you and your DD.

And I have about 20 mins to myself at home...that is usually paying bills online or researching my August trip and trying to deicde which resort to stay at! Oy....I am giving myself a headache!

HOW did you end up on that beast's team?!?!? your right that didn't hurt you it hurt your baby boy... what a croc!!! can you ask to be transferred to another team? I cannot believe she would stoop that low to tell you a different field! that is shocking and horrible behavior these are BABIES!!! for crying out loud!!! just infuriates me.

I wish you were too Kathy! I have a 3 hour layover at MDW on our way out. You couuld come meet us there for lunch and see Mo and I off But then I would have to go out of security and back through with Mo....not a good idea I guess. We will meet in WDW in August.

All the talk of kids sports and Hmmm less than wonderful personalities/coaches I remember the girls had a real witch for twirling competition practice was always in the school gym & she tried to keep the parents out & covering the glass in the door with paper...yeah right that wasn't going to happen

I hope everyone starts feeling better, did you ever find the headpiece for DD ?
I can not wait to see the communion pictures

Snicker.... <--- However, you may have to unpack and repack the snowsuit a few more times... I also recommend boots - I shoveled off the deck the other morning in my flip-flops, and the girls sat at the patio door laughing at me the entire time. Sigh.

So this weekend:
I know you ALL get all excited to find out what I HAVE DONE over the weekend! so not to keep you in suspense!
Friday i was a happy Dis Facebook person until the school called at about 12. Meg's throat was bothering her. Damn. I knew someone was going to catch my whatever i had. i had to go and get her, Tom was all the way up North in Skokie. my Step dad was at the car place for his GPS updating whatever. So off i went to pick up the peanut! poor thing. she was asleep in the chair when i got there. Signed her out and left. when we got home she had a 99.0 temp. sent her to get her PJ's. i picked up her pillow and favorite blanket believe it or NOT she was so sick she didn't even grab Duffy. by the time i turned around she was down for the count.

So Tom had picked up the boys. i had dog training. its getting harder and harder with people who DO NOT PRACTICE!!!
Saturday Meg had a doc appointment at 10:30 Tom took her and i took the boys to the school it was athletics clean up day and had to go and make sure what we have/need to order for next years volleyball. Tom text me. Peanut had... are you ready for this?!?!>
scarlet fever! What?!?!? didn't that die out in like the 40's?!?! I guess you come down with this lovely fever before strep comes?!?!? Damn. I lysol the house, dogs, people, anything and everything. she is no longer contagious that period was Friday... crap.
Meg WANTS to go to the boys game... Umm OK. take her out. Falls asleep in the chair i brought out. next thing i know she is in my car i gave her my phone so she can watch netflix, the car is about 20 feet from the benches.. EVERYONE is feeding her Popsicles, slushies, fla-vor-ice things. I seriously LOVE the parents on the boys team..
Next she is out of the car and sitting with another friends daughter! SHE MOVES!
Our game was delayed a REALLY Ridicules time,, the game before went SO OVER TIME in the 6th.. they were around 12-14 until the dreaded 6th. it went on and on (like this post) the final score you ask? 33-16 yeah... need to change the rules and add a timer on that last inning.
We won 16-1 ended in the 4th. we were OUT! everyone home Meg asleep AGAIN. Zack got to pick dinner never was struck out- HOT DOGS! YUMMY! so we BBQ'ed
Sunday? Meg IS ALIVE!!! This girl bounced back like you never saw! CLEANING DAY!!! man o man my front room is SO CLEAN it gleams!!! on to the hallway! eeeeeeeewwwwwwwww Zacka dn the amazing kid that he is helped! was done in no time! we finally quit about 3:30 took showers and off to JC penny! boys needed pants and everyone needed shoes!
not as good as sales as last time i was able to score adidas pants for 10.00
everyone grabbed shoes and we were DONE! grabbed dinner out to a place called Schoops! oh Lord of the burger this place ROCKS!
Yesterday i was the CHOSEN one to chaperone the kids field trip to the Shedd Aquarium! YIPPEE!
i had the fortunate opportunity to have my two boys and my friends twin boys. god love them.. I really do love these boys. but lets just say they are allowed to do whatever they want in their own homes. NOT IN MINE. One has ADHD with the possibility of some other issues. I DO LOVE THESE BOYS. but i needed a stiff drink. they took off ALL THE TIME. finally i got them i guess you can call it control no better word. i do have some great pictures. they also made me sit with them in the BACK of the bus you know where the cool kids sit. holy guacamole! i needed a Dramamine afterwards. Meg was back to her old self and we are all doing well!!!

BETTER news! My cousin is MAKING meg her head piece veil!!! HOW AWESOME is that?!?!? i love the fact she is going to have something hand made. make it all so much more meaningful!! i can't wait to see it!!! I ordered food yeah i did... For a great deal!!!! so i am UNDER budget!!!

"Oh taking the pictures" I have too many of THOSE in our family albums

I can't believe she had scarlett fever! Is that what you always have before strep?? Or was she a special case? Glad she's feeling better and I hope the boys don't get it.

Can't wait to see communion pics. I am not religious at all...so I honestly have no idea what a communion entails (other than a white dress). But I'm sure your pictures will be gorgeous!

So. I just found out Bradey's field trip (he is not going because he won't go without me) is on the Thursday we leave. I'm annoyed because it was supposed to be Friday. We had it all planned out that I will drop him at school on my way to the airport that morning. Then my Dad would pick him up from school and he would stay there that night. With no school Friday, no one would've had to run around for him. But now that it is Thursday, and he is still not going, I have to run him up to my Gram's before heading to the airport. Now...my Gram is 20 mins one way in the opposite direction. And the airport is already 2 hours away. So that just added an extra 40 on my drive that morning. So even though my flight doesn't leave until 12:40.....I have to get up in time to leave my house by 7-7:30!

With the time difference....I am going to want to just go to bed when we get there! Phew.
