Thank you to all of you! I will pass along to Tom! I really do believe she has had the cancer for longer then this. She was in the hospital back in Dec for stomach issues but was sent home. the only difference this time is another doc for some reason checked it and found it.. Thankfully.
Because of her age (i believe 87ish) they will not be operating, the decision will be progressive radiation Tom's sister and her husband live with Tom's Mom. BUT since everyone works and cannot take off for 7 weeks she will be put into a home. I believe will be a lot less stress for them. I only pray this goes easy on all of them stomach cancer is fast acting... I am sitting back and being as supportive as possible.

as things progress i will update. just keep her in your prayers that this goes without the pain..

Lets have some good news!!!
Yesterday despite the COLD FREEZING WET weather the boys had a game last night.
During practice the boys do really well hitting.. during game they FREEZE UP! so i talked to them about it and getting them hyped up
and maybe a little bribing
Zack got on base both times up to bat (walked) who cares he wasn't struck out! a base is a base!
Matt up to bat. 1st time struck out.
2nd time he got a hit! A DOUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been happier! he has overcome his stage fright and is READY!!! The coach gave him the game ball... so he gets to pick dinner tonight!!!

still researching US and i am really into it. looks like a lot of fun. the harry potter walk threw really looks cool. and i am really looking forward to the transfomers!!! The transformers has a special place in my heart from the last movie which was filmed RIGHT HERE in Chicago!!! we were up there watching it filmed everyday. i have SO SO many great stories. in the same news they are beginning filming AGAIN!!! the helicopter is filming skylines now. of course we will be back out there and i will have camera IN HAND!

Just re-watched the Lou Gehrig story last weekend and this reminded me of when he felt the pressure to hit 2 home runs for the little boy Billy in the hosp 2 outs he's up strike one strike two HOME RUN !! (the second one )
even the big leaguers freeze up they'll get it !! ( I also like to watch this sappy real life stories for inspiration when I get the blues )

NOW US would you believe the last time I was there ET the movie had just come out one of these days

I ended up leaving work at about 9:30am yesterday to go photo shooting with a friend of mine! and the kids had practice, and girl scouts.. I have to get them over there! just NO TIME!!!! i really need more hours in a day.
today is editing/printing day. and of course reading all your fabulous reports!!!

We're coming along I hear Maxine run at night so she is listening to her body (we should all have such horse sense) and her limp is not so pronounced some times during the day Yesterday I had an AWESOME experience with a new ortho and he actually listened to me, talked to me, examined me and then said the most beautiful words a woman can ever hear...from any man.....NO not I love you

When I read your posts about running through life with the kids so much to do extra curricular etc etc boy do I go back in my mind: twirling, horseback riding, swim team, NJROTC drill team, I was a single mom and dad was always "busy" I was working F/T and attending college F/T I would change SOME things in 20/20 hindsight but believe me it will fly by TOO fast

IF you go to US I really want to do a day there with you & your family I heard the HP area is pretty awesome, I haven't read the books, saw only a few of the movies not what I call a fan think it would be a fun day BUT I would also want to go to the area with the old time favorite cartoon characters

we had this conversation it is so hard to find a doctor without the Better then God persona!!! so rare you found one!!! YAY!!!

it already is... I hate the way it's flying. The are growing so fast yet i am having SUCH a great time with them. i am so thankful i have great mannerly kids. more on this in a second.

So another busy weekend is out of the way.
Friday was Dog training. What a horrible night. No one practiced. i have one older lady who is limited in her movements with an very rambunctious puppy. ugh. very trying. but we got threw it. I just wish people would PRACTICE during the week it makes training so much more enjoyable. Even my advance class was crappy!

Saturday: FINALLY A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! very enjoyable to be out ALL day in it!
Meg had softball practice from 10-12 she is doing really well in her fielding! Very proud of her since she is the size og a 6 year old she really has an arm on her. Batting she needs help they only practice 2 times a week so i am not expecting much out of her practices BUT the boys coach may have her doing some batting during the boys practice since they practice everyday.
Boys had a game at 2:30 and HOLY COW it went on forever. 5:30ish the massacre finally ended. We were beating the other team int eh 6th by 13 to NOTHING!!! Matt hit a line drive i was very proud Zack was walked every time a base is a base! end score was 21-4 we ended up putting our worst pitchers in so they were able to score i felt SO SORRY for the other kids you just saw it in their faces the defeat. i wish they ended the game sooner to take them out of their misery. so we of course started cheering for the other team as well! Matt and Zack both came home 3 times. they were very happy with themselves.
right after that game we came home the boys changed and out the door again to Nicole's youngest son's birthday party! we had a good time. the kids had a blast! Tom was called into his security job so i couldn't drink which was fine. home by 10:30!

Sunday: Another beautiful day! Meg had some ceremony thing for Girl scouts at 1 so i was scrambling to get the kids showered make a potato thing for the pot luck shower myself and out the door. one of the CRAZY leaders was such a **insert very explicit words here** a friend and i were mad but held ourselves back so we left a little earlier then we should have.. Tom had to work his second job again. I had to get to a store to get Zack and Meg new gym shoes! I should have taken a picture of their old shoes you would all think badly of me. to the point if i didn't i would have to cut holes in the toe of the shoe so Zack's toes would fit better! Off to Shoe carnival we went. Zack bought a really cool pair of Nike Orange of course. and Peanut HAD TO HAVE twinkle toes. DONE.
my children must be going through a growing spurt they were hungry AGAIN.
stopped at Chili's and we had a great time!!! I ordered 2 dessert to share. Matt ate MOST of both of them!!!! along with the rest of Zack mac and cheese. this kid can EAT!! now you can see why FD is very important to me!!! Finally home by about 6. Matt's turn to pick a movie. Shrek was already on so that was his pick. EASY PEEZY!
Meg starts talking about wanting a sister!!! WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM!
Me: i can guarantee you will not have a sister or brother for that matter. THE LITTLE CREEPS start telling me about how we can ADOPT! NO NO NO NO NO NO i wanted to run away screaming.
regardless of this INSANE conversation we really had a great time laughing and giggling... i really do love these kids.

Along with this:
at the game a friend of mine and i were talking. In her kids school a 7th grade girl brought a knife to school to try to commit suicide! in between classes in the hall way. Clearly her daughter who incidentally is in the same class was freaked out. the school was in LOCK down, the paramedics came she is currently in a hospital no one was harmed.
then our conversation went to children behavior there are some nasty kids on the baseball team. My boys and her son feel the same way about certain children on the team. It made me feel better talking to her. Im not saying my kids are the golden children. Yet i am not embarrassed to take them out in public, they are very well mannered please and thank you are Huge, the waitress at Chili's complimented on them and how great they are.
they have great sportsmanship along with about 3 other kids on the team. they all stick together and help each other out.
The bad thing. one of the naughty children is a friend of mine and i am shocked she allows the behavior. whatever not my kid.

OK sorry for that rambling... i'm off the soap box.....,

today
i need to get to editing! My ADORABLE LOVING step dad told me on Sunday he will help me pay for catering!!!! I LOVE THAT MAN!!!!
i am SO SO SO lucky to have him in my life!!!
on to planning the rest of the party I cannot for the life of me find a veil for Meg!!! I wish i could make one but i suck at this...
Pay a couple of bills run out for lunch to pick some stuff up for the party.
then ON TO cleaning the house again.
but FIRST i have to catch up on my dis friends!!!

Wow...I'm surprised they let the game go on so long. We have a "slaughter rule" after 4-1/2 innings and after 5 innings. It's sad to see when the other team doesn't score...I always feel bad for them.

it was brutal. in the end they did score 4 thankfully! now it's time for the parents to start their crap and give the coaches mouth. This drives me nuts. poor coaches! it's VOLUNTEER work you know the story. have ytou read the letter on facebook yet about parents and how they are not the ones devoting their time? if not i will post it for you... Def something for you and Mark!

I was trying to finish up washing the walls on Monday. after i was done my throat became a little scratchy.. took NyQUIL in the middle of the night sometime pins and needles in my throat! felt like a softball landed!!! UGH! so i called off work and off to urgent care. I have a nasty upper respiratory infection! I can't talk!!!!!!!!!!
I feel perfectly FINE i can breath my head is clear. jsut my throat is killing me! Probably spoke too soon, it will move and i will be down for the count!
have a lot of running around today in this beautiful weather!

Mark's been sick since last Friday; he umpped 7 games over the weekend and came home after the last one on Sunday and I had to get him some Mucinex, etc. He doesn't get sick often, but when he does watch out.
