Where to watch parades...

need some hints and tips on where to watch the different parades while at the parks... for good views.....

Which parades are the best... hubby wont let us go to all of them...

I love all the parades but one of my favorites is "illuminations" in Epcot... My favorite spot to watch it is in the outdoor pavillion in Mexcico. If you can get a seat there and grab some drinks its a wonderful show!

the biggest tip I can give you is give yourself ample time enjoy any of the parades. They can get really crowded and the best spots are usually taken well in advance.

Well, after over 15 trips, I seldom do the daytime parades anymore. But this is your first trip...so, I would recommend the afternoon parade in MK. Find a spot anywhere along Main St. I actually like to watch from Frontierland...that's where it starts so you can continue doing attractions as soon as the parade passes by.
I haven't seen the DHS parade in years, so can't comment on that one. Same with AK. Last time I saw it was the holiday parade several years ago.
The other one I always watch is SpectroMagic in MK. It's their night-time parade. I like to watch it over by Liberty Tree Tavern, as it turns the corner and heads through Frontierland.

We love Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at DAK.

Watch it begin (and/or end) in Africa's Harambe Village, seated at the Dawa Bar.
(Right next to Tusker House.)

DHS-I'm not good at describing this, but for Block Party Bash ask a CM where the reserved handicap spot and stand beside it. The parade goes down main road from Park entrance towards the hat and stops prior to reaching the hat for approximately 20 minutes and performs.
You definitely want to be at beginning of parade route, otherwise you are standing there listening to it, but not able to see it until it starts moving again.

A 'primo' spot for Block Party Bash is near the Sorceror's Hat at the end of "Hollywood Blvd" - in front of the Great Movie Ride.

I haven't heard of any others yet.

SpectroMagic will hit the Liberty Tree area at about 18 minutes after it begins near the RR Station.
