Where to watch Illuminations if......

My DS is very sensitive to loud, especially fireworks.

Is there somewhere in Epcot that you can still see it pretty well (doesn't have to be perfect) that we can watch it from, but not be bombarded by the noise?

Hi,

If you want to watch the show but not get the "super loud" effect of it, watch it from the fountain in Future World. You are not going to see the fountains on the water, but other than that you can see everything just fine. it's still loud but not NEARLY as bad.

We had dinner at the Bistro de Paris on our last trip, and could see Illuminations from the windows. Since it is on the second floor, we had a great view, and being inside dampened most of the noise from the fireworks.

My WIFE HATES the loud ending of Illuminations, so she simply takes earplugs to Disney, because she also doesn't like the loud noise on rides like Dinosaur either.

You should get some cheap earplugs and just keep them with you at all times and just put them in when needed.

You might want to consider earplugs for him too. My DD3 was not too thrilled with the fireworks and she coverd her ears a lot. The last night (of course, it took me until the last night to think of this) I decided to try the earplugs we had brought for her for swimming. She sat there, hands down, loving Illuminations that night. I bought them at CVS (or similar store) and they had a decilbe rating on them so you could get the ones that block the most and you wouldn't have to miss anything!

Thanks, I plan on doing that with the ear plugs, but was also looking for a different spot to watch, in case he won't agree to it!
