where can we stay if we are arrivng the night before are cruise. Near the airport and generally what is the price for a Friday night stay? This will be are first cruise We went to Disney for our honeymoon may 2003 and would like to celebrate with a 7 night disney cruise in May of 2004. We have never been on cruise so any information would be great. Thanks Kelly

Kelly, If you are up for an hour or so drive after flying I would recomend the Radisson at the port. It's a very nice place but most of all when you wake up you can see the ship! They have shuttles to the ship and a rental car agent in the lobby of the hotel, so if you rent a car at the airport you can return it to the hotel.
If you want to stay near the airport, maybe some other DIS'ers can help.

Thanks for the suggestion but I;ll keep my eyes peeled for a hotel near the airport. Thanks again Kelly

I always suggest the Airport Hyatt. It is located right inside the airport which is really nice after a long flight. Right across from the hotel is a Disney Store to buy some goodies for the cruise. Plus in the morning you can check with the cruise line at the airport and take their shuttle bus directly to the Disney Cruise Terminal. It doesn't get much easier than that. Price is about $120 a night thru the hotel, may be cheaper thru hotels.com.

Although the Airport Hyatt is incredibly convenient (it's inside the terminal), there are plenty of other hotels just outside the airport property. All of them have courtesy shuttles. And you can usually get a very nice property for $30 or so using Hotwire or Priceline.

I have a list of the properties at my web site...

We always stay for 2 days at WDW. The flights are generally less expensive to fly on Thursday than Friday or Saturday. We have 4 of us and our flights were 100.00 per person less on Thursday. We spent about 800.00 for 2 nights with transfers, hotel and unlimited park hoppers at WDW. That means about 75.00 per person more (subtracting the 400.00 for the air fare savings) for 2 nights (3 days) at WDW. We fly out of Chicago and go in either Nov. or Feb. so we don't want to risk a flight delay due to weather.
