We will be arriving in Orlando around midnight (driving from Illinois). Where should we stay the first night? I'd like somewhere very cheap but clean!

Thanks,

Teresa

Nevermind! I used priceline.com and got a room at the Wyndham on International Drive for $30.

I hope it's a nice property!

We also used priceline.com and got a room at the Hilton at Downtown Disney for $75. night. We need to spend 2 nights there before checking into our DVC!!

Teresa, I spent one night at Wyndham on International Blvd thru PL. You got a better rate than I got. I paid $34 per night. Its a nice hotel. Its spread out, not in a high rise. What struck me was how polite all the workers seemed to be. My room was quiet & not close to the busy streets. The landscaping was beautiful. If I remember right, there were two swimming pools. (I didn't have time to use them. I got in at night & had to check out first thing in the morning.) For $30 you got a great deal!

Rosemary, That sounds like a great rate for the Hilton!

Jane E, Thanks for the information about the hotel!
