DH and I are going on our first trip with NO kids, the week after July 4th. I need to make Adr's now. Need ideas, I know where to go with kids, and have some ideas as to where to go without, but I would like some imput from others. We are on the dinning plan. Thanks everyone.

Le Cellier in Epcot
Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge
Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club
Flying Fish at the Boardwalk

Love Cape May Character breakfast and Coral Reef with or without kids

Jiko would be my number 1
Le Cellier and Chefs De France are other good options

Though my Fiancee and I love all the restaurants for a nice "adult" meal we go to Artist Point,Jiko, California Grille,Yachtsman Steakhouse and we went to Victoria and Albert's as well!

Congratulations - DH and I are going on our first "No Kids" trip in Sept and made ADRs for Grand Floridian Cafe, Raglan Road, Tutto Italia, Yak & Yeti and lunch at San Angel (have heard mixed reviews on this one but it seemed romantic). We have the free dining and wanted to stick to 1 credit TS restuarants.

Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful trip!! :)

Where you choose to eat is less important than the time. When DH and I go, we never book dinner before 9:00 p.m. Why? Because every restaurant, except V&A, is packed with kids before that. Even by 9 p.m. there are a few die hard parents insisting on eating dinner with kids who are noisy, miserable or both, but there are fewer by then. Also, if we book CG, we book it for a time after the fireworks are over. After the fireworks are finished, it's pretty civilized. Before the fireworks, it's a zoo.

I agree with the getting late adrs, except that can have a downside too. While there are a whole lot less kids, the one's that are there are normally much more whiney and unruly most likely because they've been up too long.

I would suggest
Jiko
GFC
Chefs de France
Turf Club (not romantic, but in a out of the way location, so it's a relatively quiet restaurant)
Brown Derby
