We need to change our money tomorrow - I am clueless about changing money as I usually just use my cash card at the airport, but trying to be a bit more savvy.

Any advice?

We have used Thomas Cook in the past, you can reserve online and collect in store same day and this gives you a better rate than if you just walk in:goodvibes

Also the interbank rate has gone down today so the exchange rates tomorrow are likely to be slightly lower too but in the past TC have been a bit slow to update their rates in the morning. So if you can reserve online early in the morning you will still be able to reserve at todays rates. ;) (You can't reserve now because it says for collection on 9th Feb! so you need to wait until tomorrow)

Hope this makes sense and is helpful:goodvibes

This is also a site I have looked at to compare different places. I have found though that some of the collection stores only offer the quoted rates for online orders collected from store and need notice. The rates you get if you just walk in can be significantly less.

Also remember most of the differences in exchange rates make very little difference to what you will get. Eg the difference between 1.16 and 1.17 is only 1 euro per £100 you spend.
