Where to get APs

We already have the vouchers, so I am wondering where we can exchange them for the actual APs?

We arrive to WDW this Saturday around 2:00-3:00 in the afternoon. We will be checking into the CBR right away. Where is the closest place to exchange them? I was thinking at MGM ticket counter?
Also is there a place in DTD where you can exchange them? We are thinking of grabbing a bite to eat in DTD that evening after checking in & such.

Yes, we activated our AP's at the Guest Services in DTD. You can also do it at any park's ticket window. I'd do it the night before, or get to the park early. If you wait until opening at a park, the lines can be kind of long. We activated once at the WS entrance of Epcot, and it was a breeze. No one around and had a great CM working with us.

There are two Guest Relations offices at Downtown Disney. One is in the Marketplace area near the Once Upon a Toy shop. The other is in the West Side area near the AMC Theater.

We will be in DTD the night before checking in a BCV. Can we buy annual passes there and have them activated so we are ready for Epcot the next morning.

Yes you can. Just go to either Guest Relations.

I think I want APs for our Aug. trip. Is it better/cheaper to buy them in advance? Where should I get them? If I have to have them mailed, does the shipping fee cancel any savings? Thanks!

Sueg, we just picked ours up at the Disney Store. If you don't have a Disney store nearby, Disney Club will let you order online or via the phone. May be able to order from Disney via phone too. In thenpast we have picked up the AP's at DTD on the way to check into the resort.

AP's and PAP's are unique in that they are the same price whether you buy them in advance at TDS or on the phone or whether you wait and purchase them at the WDW gate. You can also still use your DC discount when getting them in person at WDW, too.
