Hi - My daughter just got her first charm bracelet. We'll be at WDW in Oct - does anyone know which shops have Disney charms?

Thanks!

If you have a Disney Club Card which offers a 10% discount at DTD, I would shop at the large Disney store there (I can't remember the name, but its huge). If you don't have a card, you can shop in almost any store in any of the parks. They almost all have charms, there are jewelry stores within each park though. They would probably have a better selection. The jewelry store on Mainstreet USA is a good one at MK and the Emporium at MK has some charms. Epcot--you have to check out each country, MGM--there are some nice jewelry shops on the way to TOT & RRC, AK--any of the larger shops should have charms.

Good luck and enjoy!

Does she have the Italian (Zoppini, et al) charm bracelet? If so, the charms are in Italy in Epcot and in the store at the Contemporary Resort.

The General Store on the Boardwalk has a big selection of charms. My DD, 6, had a really time choosing! Sounds like the charms must be at a lot of places though--guess we just didn't see them because we didn't shop when we were in the parks. Have a great trip!

My DD just started her charm bracelt at WDW. Her best sovenier. It is a simple silver chain bracelet. We bought it at a shop in EPOCT at the spot near the lake just between the World Show Case and EPCOT main area.

The charms link on with a small clip right into the charm bracelet links. She picked out the letters in her name and 4 additional character charms. The bracelet come with on sparkling silver Mickey head.

We give each child $100 to spend. She did well for about $50.

My DS waited till Legoland on the last day. $85 and $15 to bring home in his pocket.

I guess being in WDW the 2nd time around and being older,
gave them better judgement on what to purchase.

Good luck finding charms for your bracelet. It will make a great sovenier and will not collect dust in the back of a closet.

This is exactly the type of bracelet my daughter has. I can't wait to see what types of charms we can find! I agree that it should make a great souvenier!

Could the shop you're talking about in Epcot be MouseGears?

I bought the charm bracelet the first day & every day she behaved I bought another $3 charm. That way she got a little something special everyday & I didn't break the bank.

It seems like every resort store now has the charms. They're really cute. Only $3/each. I got a sizeable "gang" - pooh, the princesses, etc.

I only wish the bracelet was a higher quality metal - it's getting dark. The charms are holding up well, though.

They also sell them at Once Upon a Toy and World of Disney - this is the one that offers a 10% discount with a Disney Club card. Both of these stores are in Downtown Disney

Just be careful that the charms fit the bracelet you have. My DD and I have Nomination bracelets and while I know the $3 charms were not "good" jewelry, I did ask if they would fit these bracelets. I was told yes. What I wasn't told is that they are up-side-down from the rest of the charms on the bracelet (they are made backwards). I have since found out that the better Disney charms (in the $20 range) will fit the expensive bracelets correctly.

I bought my DD's charm bracelet outside the Dinosaur play area at AK, but we found the BEST selection of charms in AdventureLand at MK! Right after you cross the bridge from Main Street to Adventure Land, before the DoleWhips (can you tell how I remember things??) The kiosk on the left has an entire end of charms - LOVE, PEACE, Mickey pants & shoes, princesses, Princess shoes, Minnie, Micky, it just goes on and on!

Almost cuter than the pins!;)

I have both the good Disney charms and the $3 charms on my bracelet. I bought them in Disneyland and Disney World. They are all the same size and they are facing the right direction. None are upside down.

Just fyi.

We are going on our first trip to WDW and I also thought a charm bracelet for my DD would be a nice momento. I found some charms on eBay. I haven't purchased anything yet, but you may find something that's not so expensive.

Lori,

Where do you find the "good" bracelet and charms? I wouldn't mind paying a little extra - I just haven't found where they're sold.

Thanks,
-Gabrielle
