Hello.

I will be going on vacation in December for 10 days. We are spending 2 days at each park. Well, currently the days that we are at Magic Kingdom, we have priority seating at California Grill and CRT. So we will be indoors enjoying Wishes. I read that the best place to enjoy Wishes is outside in Magic Kingdom. So what do you recommend I do? I am thinking of making CRT earlier, so that afterwards we can go outside to see Wishes (This is our last day also). Or is viewing Wishes from inside the castle better? Thanks, simplymel3

One of the best places to enjoy Wishes is at the California Grill. They pipe in the music and narration, too! Kudos on getting that reservation! CRT is not ideal for viewing, since the fireworks will be more over the castle and the windows in that dining room are mostly stained glass. Moving that reservation to an hour or two before the fireworks would be a good idea. That way, you can enjoy a one of a kind meal experience, walk outside and be in a great place to view Wishes. :goodvibes What a wonderful finale to your vacation!

Our favorite place to enjoy Wishes is by the flag pool on Main Street. When you are to close to the castle, you don't get the full affect (in my opinion). When you are standing a little farther back, I feel you see everything together more clearly.

Now, I have seen Wishes from inside The California Grill, and that is lovely too. But, it's still not the same when you're inside the park. Definitly though don't try and watch them from inside the castle, because you will see nothing.

Have a great and wonderful trip!!!!!

Definitely front and slightly right of the castle on the inside of the "road":thumbsup2 Tinker Bell will fly to your right and the full impact of color, music, and fireworks is Incredible from that vantage. The area fills up, so make sure you have your spot at least 30 minutes prior to the show.

I like to see Wishes from Inside the Park because of how close everything is
and it the best view.
I don't understand why most people have to see it from other places,
it is becoming a trend to do this and it doesn't make sense to me.:confused3
That's just my thoughts and not most peoples!!

Thanks for the input. I will definitely try to switch to an earlier time. I knew that I wanted to eat in the castle for dinner because we never did that before and thought that it would be an interesting experience. So there might be a 7:40 pm opening for Dec. 23rd if I am able to get that timeslot. Perhaps there is somebody out there who is willing to switch times with me...:chat:
