Tell me where to eat..
I'll be at UO from Sept 28th-Oct 2nd
Give me some dinner and lunch suggestions...
Where do I need to make ressies and where should I eat? I will have a car if there is a must do place off property, but once we are on property we usually prefer to stay there.

There will be 2 adults and 2 kids 8,6 and 2.

TIA

That's a great time to be at the parks! Perfect weather and low crowds. The only reservation I would make is if you want to eat at either Emeril restaurant. www.opentable.com takes online reservations to both Emeril's and some other Universal restaurants like NBA City, The Palm, Bice.

Mythos is a must everything else falls under that for me. Mama Della's at PBH is terrific. We also like to spend an evening at Margaritaville. Bubba Gumps is getting some good reviews. I have not eaten there yet. The Island Dining Room at RPR is very very good. Richter's for a huge burger at Universal or Finnegan's also at Universal for a decent sit down pub style meal.

At IOA I like to eat at Enchanted Oak or Thunder Falls Cafe. You will not be lacking for an eatery! So many great places to have a meal.

They are all child friendly too and offer some nice kids meals at most.

Thanks for all the tips.

Any must do outside the park? We will have a car and can drive if something is outstanding?
Anyone been to the Tommy Bahama restaurant?

There are many great reataurants on Sand Lake Road, which is just outside USO maybe 5-10 minute drive.

We love Cracker Barrel. We don't have any in Maine, and we usually eat there at least once while traveling. Almost all Cracker Barrels have RV parking, which is great when we're on a road trip with our pop up camper. The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. There are several in the Orlando area. We stay offsite, though, which probably impacts our decisions.
