As my kids are very happy with cereal and poptarts for breakfast, we don't plan on going to breakfast as a family. My husband, however, 'needs' to eat a real breakfast each morning. Is there someplace close he can go and grab breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc.) while I'm feeding the kids and getting them ready? Oh...and without having to pay $20.00 for it!

BCV has a character breakfast for $$$ or they also have room service. It's not as cheap as cooking in your unit but you dont have to cook or clean up the mess...

The Yacht Club Galley has a buffet and also a full service breakfast menu available, both are very good. Cape May Buffet is a buffet breakfast and is also very good and has characters. S&D both have food court/deli type places and restaurants that offer breakfast fare. The boardwalk area has Spoodles that overs a very nice full service breakfast menu and also a sort of buffet breakfast in that you order a buffet but your selections are brought to your table by a wait person and you can eat as much as you want--like O'Hana at the Poly. Seashore Sweets has a wonderful variety of pasteries, breakfast sandwiches etc, but no pancakes and sausage. Also BC/YC has a breakfast bar right outside of YCG with coffee, cereal, donuts, bagels, etc.
As you can see, there are many and varied breakfast options within a short walk from any of the Epcot resorts. Enjoy!!!

Not everyone in our family gets up at the same time or at the same rate. Since Dad is the the first one up I gather up our Boardwalk mugs and go down to Seashore Sweets, I get pastries, egg sandwiches or what ever and bring it back to the room. I usually have to make a second trip because someone decides that they are hungry after all.

Since I will be 97 years old when my points expire, there will be years and years for someone to play "go fetch" for Dad.

Pam, I am with your husband. I like a full breakfast every morning. Yacht Club Galley is only about a 5 minute walk over to the Yacht Club. (The walk is completely covered in case of rain) They have a good breakfast either that can be ordered or also a small buffet all is reasonably priced. Also there is a DVC discount. (I think that is still in effect).

We went to the YCG several times on our last trip (3 wks ago). They had pancakes, waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, omlette, muffins, pastries, oatmeal, grits, cut fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and a couple breakfast breads. It was very good. And yes, the DVC 10% discount is still in effect.

how much do you mind paying - BCV has an excellent room service - but it is not cheap by any means.

now if you are going for early entry - this (unless someone wants to cook) - would probably be the only choice - the restuarant use to open at 7:30 - but on our trip they were opened at 7:00am - so there is hope!!!

DW and I have enjoyed the buffet at YCG.
It is on the list for our upcoming trip.
I give it a 9 out of 10 on quality and cleanliness.
It is not the best value, 7 out 10 of the for value.

We have also enjoyed breakfast at Tubbie's(sp) Buffeteria over at the Swan/Dolphin. Good food 8.5 and good value 9 . DVC discount there too:smooth:

I'm not sure if your husband likes an early morning walk as well, but my family ate breakfast at Spoodles on the Boardwalk and had what I'd consider an extraordinary meal for an acceptable price.
