Where to Eat Before Illuminations Cruise?

What are some good options for dinner before an Illuminations cruise? We need to be at the Yacht Club marina by 8pm, so what time for a PS?

We had a great meal at the Yachtsman Steakhouse prior to our Illum. cruise this past Jan..................by the way the Yachstman was a place that we'd never been to on any prior trips, and we have made it a "must return" restaurant for our next trip, which is only 640 thousand days away.............

The Yachtsman would be an obvious suggestion as it is fantastic food and very close. You could also walk around to The Boardwalk and you will have a choice of a half dozen places to eat.

Cape May at the BC has an incredible seafood buffet. They start serving at 5:30 so you would have plenty of time. They also serve land lover food for those that don't enjoy seafood.

With regard to time I would probably do a 6:00 meal for table service, 6:30 for a buffet. That leaves extra time if it takes a bit to be seated, you don't have to rush through your meal, can enjoy dessert if so desired and then walk to the marina (or catch a boat there if you pick a restaurant at Boardwalk, Swan or Dolphin).

We were in a bit of a hurry, but we had time to work in Beaches and Cream which is less than 50 yards from the check in office at the marina.

We did the cruise last week and ate at Spoodles - fabulous meal - everyone of us (5 adults and 3 kids) were thrilled with our meals! Can't wait to go back!!!
