Hi
WE are flying in-direct via JFK and I was wondering if anyone else has done this, if so are there any places you would recommend to eat airside?

Don't bank on it! Airside where we were when we fly to Manchester on delta there was a few shops, a burger king, a sbarro (pizza) and I'm pretty sure there was a Chilis or something of that ilk.
So not bad but certainly MCO :)

:goodvibes

WE are flying Delta; which use Terminal 3. There looks to be a Sam Adams resturant but I can't find a menu.

I never found the choice great just the usual fast food places Even the duty free is small for such a big airport

I fly trough terminal 4 so can't comment on terminal 3 just copped that sorry

are you sure you're flying via terminal 3?

I think that the delta in terminal 3 is for domestic flights only.

if you're flying in from the UK into JFK, then i would think you'll arrive in terminal 4.

I usually arrive in terminal 4 (the international terminal) and then have to drag my body over to terminal 3 to get on a domestic delta flight down to MCO ...

as i recall, terminal 3 has a food court....terminal 4 has some stuff, but nothing to write home about.....

Thanks for the info. how long does it take to transfer from 4 to 3?

yes, you can take the airtrain from one to the other...
i've taken the airtrain and i've also walked from one to the other....
i think i preferred walking, just because i got a bit confused at finding how to get to the airtrain...
but just ask directions....terminal 3 is right next to terminal 4....it's really not a big deal to get from one to the other.

here's a link to the map of the airport:
http://www.panynj.gov/airports/jfk-airport-map.html

click on any of the terminals in the map and you'll get a map of that specific terminal along with a list of the airlines using that terminal.

i was looking at the underlying maps of each terminal - i see that BA and several other airlines use Terminal 7, Air France and several others use Terminal 1 and a whole lot of international airlines use terminal 4.
Check with your airline to see which terminal you'll be flying into.
