where to buy mister fans

Just be sure you pick one up from WalMart. Last year we bought one at AK for $$$ and by the end of the day it was leaking from a split in the plastic sprayer seal (probably there when we bought it, but just didn't see it). So, it was useless for the rest of the trip.

They would have exchanged it at any stand that sells them.

I NEED those!! GOtta have them.... Been to 4 different Walmarts... It is now becoming an obsession!! Dont know if its because of our location (MA), but out of 4 stores I have only found a tiny regular fan that has the clip..no misting!!! If anyone in MA finds one, please post which location.

If I find them I can always buy extras and if anyone has a paypal account I can just mail them....

Wish me luck... I'm off to another Walmart!!!

Got these at my WalMart (well, at 2 different ones) but I wanted to tell you: if you have younger children...they may not be able to operate this themselves because of the way the trigger is set up. To mist yourself (and that's really the point, right?), the way you have to squeeze the trigger is not easy. I LOVE them because of the size and not having to carry the big misting fans but I think I will still end up with the big ones too because of the kids...otherwise, I will hear "Mom, can you mist me?" 3,522 times a day.

I agree the "misters" without the fan are the best. We have two fan misters from our last trip but will probably bring the others on our next trip to WDW. The fine mist is very cool and they are not too big. We bought one mister at CVS last July (around $11) for summer baseball games. It "disappeared" at one of the games and we weren't able to find one the rest of the summer.

That is the EXACT same one I got at Walmart for $2... Honest it is... Someone else posted a pic. of the Walmart one a little bit back.. Take a look at it.. It really is the SAME exact one...

I found this smaller misting fan for $3 today at Wal-Mart....

It's a little less bulky to carry....

It's about the size of a stick of deoderant. It takes 1 AA battery, so it may not be as powerful as the bigger fan....but, they are small enough for everyone to carry....so, you don't have to worry about carrying several big fans or having kids fight over who gets to use the fan.

I found them the day I posted this!! yippee!!!

The Walmarts were the ones I stopped at during a trip to visit my inlaws.. from MA to ME.... So luckily I didn't have to go out of my way to get them...

I agree about the price of gas.... Sometimes trying to find things like this turns out to be an obsession!!!

It is called Carabiner Misting Fan. UPC is 5524709711. There is also a website listed on the package, maybe you can buy them online?? www.o2-cool.com They were a bit less than $3 ($2.88 I believe) at Walmart.

I mentioned I found a pocket size pump sprayer at the discovery channel store for 15.00. well today I found the same thing at cvs drug store for 10.00, displayed with the sun screen. It's a great product, effective and small.

I found the mister fans at Dollar Tree. I bought 2 for my DDs and a pack of disney stickers(also a dollar) to decorate the bottle. I have a total of $3 in 2 disney decorated mister fans. One is pink and one is purple.

You might check at your Wal-Mart they have some small pocket mister fans for about $3.00, you might compare the ones at CVS for $10.00 I can't imagine Wal-Mart would be that much cheaper on a comparable product.

Just got back from Disney, having brought our misters from Walmart. (As I posted earlier, I found them in the same section as the plastic garbage cans. Go figure?) The kids (5 and 6) found them easy to use BUT......1) be careful the fan doesn't get too close to long hair and 2) the carabiners only work if you are wearing something they can clip to. The kids' shorts didn't have belt loops so I was carrying all the misters and we had one that we had to throw out because we couldn't open the battery compartment. Over all we were glad we had them.

Finally found the O2 Cool Caribiner(the small ones with the clip)at our Wal-mart for $2.97 near the seasonal pool stuff like goggles, pool toys, etc. DW and I asked yesterday back in the hardware section and the lady told us to check down a couple of aisles in hardware and then over in automotive. None of these were the ones we were looking for.

Checked K mart, Dollar General, Target, and Family Dollar with no luck and then on another trip to Walmart without kids (or anyone for that matter)found them on an end cap quite by mistake. They had obviously been there awhile because there was only one blue one left and many of the pegs were empty.

Anyone that is having trouble finding them that lives in a northern climate should check the seasonal section.
