...or maybe it should be titled An Emotional Puzzle
Parameters:
First 3 days Boardwalk
Middle day- What to do?
Last 3 days offsite
I will stay in studio. I have a tween.
We have a car but won’t always rent a car.
Plan to come back every 3 years or so. We will go to either Epcot or preferably Animal Kingdom (Yak and Yeti res) following that middle day.
I’m a new DVC member and used to value and off property. have been to WDW several times.
what should I do for that middle day?
a) stay at boardwalk- different category unless waitlist comes up, not moving, not using car for 4 days- it was a super duper cheap deal tho
b) stay first time at AK. savanna, room requests in - exciting views I hope, we like Safari ride and Sanaa. We usually do a double day at AK but this time we will double day at EP. We have hard to get yak and yeti reservations. We don’t always eat table service but we always make time for YY tradition. And I signed up for Landry’s club but can be used another time.
But ....
C) riviera studio opened up! We only have a handful of direct points. We have Topolino’s res. to explore regardless. We are so curious about Riviera and appreciate new and shiny. Husband and I pick it right away if it weren’t for the kid. I guess I am mostly thinking it is a rare oppt I shouldn’t pass up. But maybe we could save for later?
what do you think??
Edit: If it comes down to my daughter, we usually consider her (think mermaid room) input but she is flexible with Boardwalk (where friends are staying) or Savanna. We are all curious about savanna but it seems like it is very easy to get and can do another time.
