Where Is The Cheapest Place To Get Trading Pins?

I know that there is an area for pin collectors. However, we aren't collectors. My daughter just has fun trading them. I don't want to spend A LOT of money. In fact, for the last trip I paid about .49 cents for each pin, and I had about ten. Is it still possible to find them that cheap? I bought them at the Disney Store. I'm sure my DD will want to do them again. I have a younger daughter who will want to do it. And, I have a niece who we are going to take with that I'm sure will want to trade also. Thanks.

there were some sets on sale at the disney store... maybe you could buy two and divide them among all the kids? the cheapest i have purchased a pin was for $.99 on ebay but once you pay shipping, it's no longer a bargain ('cept we wanted a specific pin)... where did you get pins for $.49?

I bought them at the Disney Store. HUGE clearance. I found a lot that i might get. It's expensive, but the pins are less than $1.50 a piece. I really don't think I'm going to find them any cheaper.

I would try ebay, try to buy them in a lot, that way you will get a mixed variety and you won't have to buy individually, especially if you are going to trade then it doesn't really matter which ones you start off with.

I'm confused - I didn't think the Disney Stores were selling the pins any longer. The one in my hometown doesn't have them. Are you talking about the on-line store or the walk-in stores? Gee if I could get them for $1.50, I would be tickled pink 'cause you usually have to pay at least $2.50 if you buy on eBay.

The Disney Store has them online but only in sets. The same is true of the stores. None of them carry the individual pins you can buy for trading.

I have purchased a lot of them on eBay. After shipping, I think the cheapest I have paid is $2.50 each. Considering that in the parks, the cheapest pins I have seen have been $4.00, it's not a bad deal. I did a lot of shopping on eBay and managed to get each of my DSs about 24 pins each.

Sorry. It's been awhile since I got them at the Disney Store. They had SUPER sales. If I would have known then how much my daughter would enjoy trading them, I would have bought them all.

If you are patient you can get them pretty cheap on Ebay. Not the $.49 like the DS close outs, still kicking myself that I didn't buy more, but usually around $2.

The outlet stores in Orlando will sometimes have them as well.

I need to replenish my stock since we found great pins last week and used all of our traders!

Will there be pins for sell at the WDW Disney store?! I'm hoping to look for some there, but if they don't have them, I need to stock up otherwise. Please advise. Thanks.

I think pins at WDW are now going for about $6-$20. Lots of variables, LE, stacked, etc. I got a few for my son at the 6.50 range, and he had a blast trading them....then I got a Ton on ebay, and can't wait to trade them. :p I think I usually paid avg.2.75, but I brought "lots".

Take a look at Disneystore.com. Right now they are having a pin clearance (sets). Some sets have up to 7 pins for $16.99. Check mousesavers for the current free shipping code.
