Where is all the budget stuff?

I think a few years ago a community board wouldn't have been a bad idea, but the board doesn't move that fast anymore. I can log off today and when I come back tomorrow, most of the same posts will be on the first page.

As for the community board on the disabilities board, I read that board everyday but I very seldom remember to read the community board over there. I think the same thing would happen over here.

That is the laziest reply to this thread.

There are umpteen ways to save money at Disney. I am finding them slowly but surely and I can promise you mousesavers doesn't have all the answers.
Except the original post, they've been in response to criticisms.
Nope. Crisi gave a suggestion on a good website to find info and got her head bitten off.

I am wondering why, if the op has umpteen ways to save money at Disney she's not starting threads to share them. That would create more threads she feels are the ones that should be here.

I guess it's all in how you read the header:
Budget Board
Learn the 'in and outs' of smart earning, saving, and spending your money. Our motto: 'Any dollar saved or earned is another dollar for Disney!' Be sure to visit our DIScounts Page for more Disney money saving tips!

You can budget to save for a Disney trip or to save while on a Disney trip. I think this board helps with both, although I agree with a previous poster who says it should be the spending board, I find some good sales from this board that could blow my budget!

People who can help her, yes. Willing to, after the attitude in this thread? Good luck. LOL
Now now we will help even with the snarky additute problem.

Maybe op is having an off day. The op also has a valid point the disboard is a hot mess of disboard craziness and I love it.

Joining a new forum - any forum - is often overwhelming. It's hard to find what you are looking for on just about any Disney forum day 1.

I recommend whenever you start reading a Disney forum, just hang out and read for a month or so before joining in on the conversations. You'll pick up LOTS of information that does relate to the topic of the board - so you won't have to post the same topic yet again - and you'll start to get a feeling for how communication occurs on the board.

This isn't the case with just the budget board, it's been true of every Disney or other board I've ever been on. It's even true of many interactions in real life. Think about it - when you have to start dealing with a new group of people at your job or something, it's often a good idea to keep a low profile at first until you get to know how the group interacts. Would you have barged into a meeting at work your first day on the job and started complaining to everyone that the meeting was off topic? Probably not.
