Where is she going to school?

She'll start in Bryan/College Station at Blinn Junior College. She needs a few classes before she can transfer to Sam Houston State. Will be perfect for her; an hour from home, good part time job market and she'll only have 2-3 classes to get her eligible. She's been accepted at Sam Houston just needs these classes to go the Criminal Justice route as a sophomore.

Bellville's Virginia was honored during the football game last night (a victory and our quarterback broke my Godson's record from 2003 with 5 TD passes!) which would have been her favorite game of the year. The "mini cheerleaders" were allowed to cheer with the "big girls" on the sidelines. All student participants wore her favorite color, teal, and her parents had beads and bandana's passed out to everyone at the gates. Sweet remembrance of her. Then at 2:30 am we got the first rain we've had since midsummer! Along with terrible wind, lightening and thunder! Temperatures dropped 20 degrees in 15 minutes. Then this morning we discovered a huge tree limb down in the backyard! Thankful for the rain but NOT the cleanup!

It was nice! All the little "mini cheerleaders" wore teal ribbons in their hair with her name on one end and Angel Wings on the other end. Hoping for more rain this afternoon/evening; nice shower now but more severe weather predicted for this evening. Sure hope it doesn't knock cable/internet out...REALLY want to watch A&M/LSU game this evening!
