Baby girl all moved in with the help of Mom, Dad and best friend! Classes start tomorrow including DANCE classes ...hope she's not TOO "out of shape" after the summer they've had!

Yes! We'll see how the next few days go. They don't start classes until Thursday but have "welcoming activities" the next 3 days. She and her roommate went shopping this afternoon for their shared living area; Sara liked her and her family...Dad and grandparents...and very polite boyfriend. She only lives 20 minutes from campus but her Dad wanted her to have the "college experience" instead of being a commuter student. Upside to that...grandmother gave Katie and Sara her phone number IF they have any issues/trouble; downside...she'll be able to "go home" anytime she wants, leaving Katie by herself. She did get texts from 2 other girls she met at orientation saying they'd checked in their dorms and wanting to check how things were going for her. It IS a pretty nice suite; not as big as they thought it would be. They each have a separate bedroom but share the bath and living area. She has a nice view of the campus which is nice and it's fairly close to the classrooms she'll use.

That’s great they each have their own bedroom and there is a living area and a bathroom. Suites are nice.

Yes, it's a "miniature" and part of the display. It's something that was used often "in those times".

This is one of my "Christmas repair" projects that has been waiting 2 years for me to get too! Purchased this sucker at an after Christmas sale...95% off, when other items were only 60-70% off. Wondered why but for $4.50 I purchased it. Brought it home, plugged it in and......it didn't work! THAT'S why it was marked 95% off! Oh well...thought I'd save it and either replace the bulbs or, if nothing else, use the FRAME for a new project. Imagine my surprise today when I prepared to replace bulbs and, something told me, to plug it in and double check...AND IT WORKED!

Isn't it cute! Just hope it keeps working. Since it's been 2 years I'm not sure but it was either Home Depot or Lowe's. Very good quality and it's heavy...David won't be happy about that when we need to anchor it!
