A few of Katie's graduation photos; one more day before her big day!
HS?
No Ma'am, not from the MK either.
SWGE?
They fly down to Orlando on Monday for their graduation trip and to find an apartment for Allie in Melbourne. I sure am getting "homesick" for a trip too! Not sure if I can wait until later in the year to go! This QS food service in HS is one thing I'm looking forward to again.

David finally took the rest of the pool cover off today and OMG do we have a mess! The hail storm a few weeks ago destroyed half of the cover; summer has officially arrived with the 90+ temperatures and with all the sunlight we have GREEN water and algae everywhere! It's SUCH a mess; may be July before it's usable this year!

Early graduation. My school has two more weeks
We start in mid-August, I think that's earlier than y'all and you have WAY more snow days to make up! Yesterday was our last day of school...and Sara's last day at St. Mary's! We're officially done for this school year. I thought I'd cry...ugly cry...but she was SO happy I couldn't help but smile! AND...the Asst. Dora Director is also a "senior class sponsor" and her cousin, Sarah, is Pres. of the School Board and she got to "officially" announced the class members had met the graduation requirements and were eligible to receive their diplomas. THAT made her happy....
Woodys Lunchbox?
I've been putting this off all evening simply because, once I see it in print, it will be real. At 2:30 this morning, in my arms, our sweet Lady Boo Belle crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She had a severe heat stroke yesterday right after lunch. I was getting the last of the supplies for Katie's party in Brenham. David called Amanda and she rushed Boo to her emergency vet after picking me up on the way. Her temperature was 109 and they immediately said "we gotta go" and rushed her to the back. After about 30 minutes they had the temp down to 102 and brought her back out to us. She had air on her tummy from trying to catch her breath so they inserted a tube and took care of that. Brought her back out, gave her glucose and sent her home with antibiotics. I think that was the point we thought she'd never recover. When we got her home, she couldn't stand on her back legs (we think she might have had a regular stroke...vet said her heart was starting to enlarge which is common for her breed) but after a couple of hours she was making an effort to get up and she'd scoot across the floor. I had hope. But, about midnight, she looked at me with the saddest eyes and the thought crossed my mind that she might not recover. I picked her up to put her on her bed and she had the final heart attack. I'm heartbroken...
Focusing on Katie and her party got us through the day; good turnout to celebrate with her which brought smiles to our faces. They leave at 1 PM tomorrow for Disney World...
Everyone's FAVORITE was her "Pickle Bar" ... the kid loves her pickles
Now that everything is done; not doing so good.
