Really glad our football team has an open date tonight! It's been an exhausting day. Beautiful service; church hymns led at the cemetery by local entertainer, Moses, who was fabulous ; more flowers than I've ever seen; wonderful memories and more than a few tears. We each left a part of our hearts with her along with a red rose. She will be missed.

You've both narrowed the shops down; it's not a hat or shoe store but either the Boathouse shop or Oakley. Tell me which one and what it is.

Fall Ball pictures....Emma was 30 minutes late and sun was already sitting and 2 of the dates were still getting cleaned up after their evening farm chores but still got a few pictures! Pretty spot at the Golf Course...

Allie is so focused on soccer she didn't even realize David was at the game until it was over! She saw him and started crying! They spent a good 2 hours afterwards visiting and getting treats from Sonic! He really enjoyed his "solo weekend" and had a chance to visit a couple of tourist attractions way out in West Texas. Some rough country out there where the pioneers dealt with Indians on an almost daily basis....the main reason Ft. Davis was built. Interesting Texas history and the "modern" Mcdonald Observatory. Only "downer"...she only played 20 minutes but probably a good thing. David said during those 20 minutes she was knocked down from behind 3 times and kicked....hard... on her leg with the brace. Saying it nicely , that team has never "played well with others!"
