The girls are 2 hours out of Austin and Sara decided to change her flight to Tuesday instead of Thursday! VERY happy with that decision!

That IS getting close! Read earlier a TSA worker at the ORLANDO airport tested positive! Can you imagine how many people he/she was in contact with at the Orlando airport over a spring break week week! And then you have the damn fools like that man who was suppose to be self quarantined and doesn't do it! It's idiots like that that I could just "slap silly"! Sara saw the UofH baseball team has been quarantined...they just returned from a trip to VEGAS! SO...since they've been there longer, the girls have decided to self-quarantine. I told Sara I already had meals planned for all of us so I'll just bring the food out and let it in the garage. So does the school shutdown include Stephanie and now that he's done that does that mean YOU can also stay home?

Not sure if the colleges and universities have to follow but her school is closed for the next three weeks and then they will decide if they will resume classes. We had a lot of students and teachers that went to Disney over break. One of the counselors went to Ireland and one family went on a cruise.

Did I see that there's snow expected too this week? Been checking so many news stories I've confused myself!

We had snow yesterday but not much and today was nice.

No I still have to go in. Tomorrow should be so fun it's my long day. Not sure if the colleges and universities have to follow but her school is closed for the next three weeks and then they will decide if they will resume classes. We had a lot of students and teachers that went to Disney over break. One of the counselors went to Ireland and one family went on a cruise.

That sucks that your schools are closed and you still have to go in?! Do the teachers have to go in?? The counselor who went to Ireland have to come in??!

I went to our local theater's musical today. I was a little surprised they didn't cancel it. And it was pretty full! But I was on an aisle and had several empty seats on the other side. Even though it doesn't seem like a big deal up here, I think we should take it seriously. Better safe than sorry. Plus, as an antisocial introvert, I've been preparing for this my whole like! I'm thrilled to be able to cancel everything and stay home!!!!

Just watch Disney World shut down and sitting here crying like a baby! They sang "Now it's time to say goodbye..."; even had the President at the Train Station with the characters waving goodbye. Peachy...that's all YOU need, having to be with people that have been in high exposure areas for a week! Does Stephanie get to do her classes online? But...might be kinda difficult to do her "labs"...it's not like you have A COW in your back yard! Hope it all works out for her! The Houston Chronicle has an article saying it's quite possible schools could be shut down the rest of the year; that would break my heart for Allie to see the rest of her senior year not happen. I told Sara though that we just have to think positive and hope this 2, maybe 3 week break does the trick. And for you...WASH YOUR HANDS...A LOT!!!

...and now Sara's coming home tomorrow. Las Vegas is SHUTTING DOWN! Hotels, casinos, restaurants, everything. They ate at a Bally's restaurant tonight that seats 300; there were about 30 people there. She said it made her so sad knowing the workers wouldn't have a job tomorrow. No word on the pool tournament though; Treavor plays tomorrow at 9:30.

Team portion of pool tournament has been cancelled ; Treavor will also be home no later than Tuesday. On the "bright side"...sure will be glad to have my entire family back home again!

Love this resort! But, next time I go to DW, it will be on my DVC points! Every 3 years I can do a little DVC.

Our governor has closed all bars and restaurants! I know it's mostly for the west side of the state but I thought it was risky of the local theater having their matinee yesterday. And since they had it, and I had my ticket, I went. 6 hours later, the governor made it illegal to have groups of 50 or more. It was 250 and the theater holds about 200. Which is more than 50. Everything has been cancelled except the parents of my home school string program are trying to talk the HS into letting us meet in there! I'm like are you crazy! STAY HOME! Leave me out of this! I'm over 60! He will let me know today if the school will let us in the school. I hope NOT! I may be being overly cautious but better safe than sorry!

I'm going to brave the grocery store Tuesday ; hopefully the panic buying will be done by then. Our largest local store actually had police officers on patrol INSIDE & OUTSIDE over the weekend! Some of our friends said it was super crazy inside; others said not so bad so it all depended on the time of the day. I DO have a hurricane prepared kit so am pretty good on canned goods and our freezers are well stocked with meat and veggies but I'm almost out of ICE CREAM! If worse comes to worse, I CAN mail you a package of toilet paper ! David found some yesterday at a smaller grocery chain and he bought it for Amanda but Bryan had also found some so we DO have a couple of extra packages! Isn't it crazy that we're excited about having EXTRA TOILET PAPER! With my allergies, I ALWAYS have extra boxes of Puffs on hand too! I told Sara your school had closed but that you still had to go in and she thought that was STUPID too! Makes NO sense! Nothing new from Stephanie's school? Tell Nick to keep using LOTS of hand sanitizer ...hopefully the PD has a supply on hand! Sara said the girls are calling her a "germaphobe" she has them using it so much!

I can't decide if I want to do like you and Emily and go later in the day or be waiting for the doors are open. I'm stocked on paper products too and just need my "regular groceries" but my list includes cheese, lunch meat, eggs, bread, pasta, fresh and frozen veggies, etc. and some of those items go fast. I'll see how today goes and hopefully get some "reports" on Facebook. One of our former soccer players works at HEB and I plan on messaging her to see if things have settled down. Has anything been decided on school closures for James? Our School Board meets again on Thursday evening; I'm pretty sure the spring break will be extended again just don't know for how long. PROM is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, and I have a feeling that will be cancelled.
