Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

I would like to try Riverside one of these days but have no desire to stay at French Quarter unless it's the only spot with availability. Not a huge fan of the decor with all those creepy masks and alligators! 🤨 This guy looks like a fun "greeter" though!

The CDC issued that suggestion last night; no gatherings over 50 for the next 8 weeks. Which leads me to believe school will have to be finished online this year and my heart is breaking for Allie and her fellow seniors. 😭 Our only "saving grace" might be the fact that, like you, we're in a small rural area and HOPEFULLY will not experience many cases. Pretty sure there will be some...probably half of our area population spent Spring Break week out of town. Disney World, New York City, cruises, Disneyland, Las Vegas, college visits...a lot of traveling over the past week. We tried to stay away from crowds...even in Vegas. It was pouring down rain Thursday evening so we were very limited as to where we could go without getting soaked. We went to dinner, checked out the flower display at the Bellagio (which was NOT crowded at all)...

...and went back to the Tropicana. David spent some time in the casino but said he had a whole area to himself. That theater sounds SUPER crowded 😱...not so sure about that! If the home school group is allowed in the school just keep your distance of 6' and wash your hands, :tink:

We stayed at Riverside back when it was Dixie Landings. Not sure how it is now but back then it was really good.

I hope school resumes so Allie can do all her senior stuff. That would really stink if graduation got cancelled. I was talking to Stephanie about that and graduation might be cancelled. She was like "Well at least it's not my high school graduation, I would cry."

From Facebook...this is really, really breaking my heart 😢; when I think I may not see her class members again in school activities this year I get tears in my eyes. I can't imagine how they feel. 😪

If there’s a high school senior in your life, give them a hug and pray for them. To them, the cancellation of school is not a vacation. It’s wasted time they don’t get to spend with their friends the last few months before they graduate. They’re anxious, realizing they may never be able to take the field again with their best friends and hear their name called on senior night. They’re sad hearing their senior trip they’ve been waiting on all year has gotten cancelled. They’re nervous that they may not be able to walk the stage and get the diploma they have been working hard on for 12 years. Show them support and love them during these hard times. #classof2020 ❤️

 Give Stephanie a hug. AND...SHE deserves her graduation too for finishing her 2 year program! I've been thinking about her a lot too hoping she'll be able to complete the course! There was another post on Facebook last from the mother of one of Allie's friends attending Brenham High School.

I'd forgotten they were "9/11 babies". 😕 Got word this evening that one of our neighboring school districts will close the doors through April 24th! Not sure if they're extending the school year for 5 weeks or if the lost time will be excused. A lot of decisions will need to be made in the next few weeks...and a lot of plans will have to be changed if they extend! :faint:

I've always wanted to try Riverside; I DO love the Southern mansions but all that Mardi Gras stuff isn't my "cup of tea". We might have to look into Riverside for our anniversary trip! :tink:

Well Treavor is STILL playing pool! Of all the years for him to KEEP ON WINNING! He can do no worse than 6th place out of ALL the entries so he's actually "in the money" party:...but he had to change his Southwest plane reservation FOR THE 4TH TIME! :faint: He'll play early Tuesday morning and we'll see if he advances some more. As for me, Sara has convinced me to self-quarantine so I'm going the "curbside pickup" for my groceries. The first available time slot for pickup is SATURDAY between 3:30 & 4 PM! o_O A LOT of people using this service during this crazy time but I'd rather go that route than battling the crazy crowd. I'm calling my foot doctor in the morning to see if I should keep my afternoon appointment; since we've been traveling I'll leave it up to him if he wants to see me or not. Once of Katie's friends had an orthodontist appointment today. They had to call the office when they arrived; office staff checked them in and then they waited in their car until the dentist was ready to see them. No waiting in a waiting room 😊...what a great idea! :tink:

Sorry to crash y'all's party but had a few moments this morning. Hope ya don't mind. I didn't see if this one got ID'd.

That's the place I was thinking about! It's on Discovery Island, right? Near the Micky/Minnie meet and greet?
Yep "crocodile smiles" it is near the trading company in that group of places. Don't remember exactly. My wife used to eat there some. Thought it was pizzafari at first but had to get photo off Disney to be sure!
