Everything that can be done before hand is done! Busy day tomorrow though too but can almost say "mission accomplished"! Hope you got all your baking done!

I have a few things to bake today. Everything else is done.

You know I love my husband with all my heart BUT...talked him out of painting the ceiling in the family room YESTERDAY. He finally realized he could put all my Christmas displays in jeopardy and I DO have a few expensive Dallas Cowboy Bradford Exchange Santa's in there. Made me VERY happy that he agreed to wait until I have time to remove the treasured items.

WELL...I walk into my kitchen area this morning after hearing "construction noise" and THERE IS NO BACK DOOR and sawdust EVERYWHERE (after I did housecleaning yesterday ). MERRY CHRISTMAS ...you're getting a new back door for Christmas! "But does it have to be installed TODAY?" I will have to be like Susan from "Miracle on 34th Street" for the rest of the day..."I believe, I believe, I believe"...I WILL believe I can work around a construction project on CHRISTMAS EVE and be ready to contribute to my cousin's dinner this evening and be in church when the bells ring at 6:30 this evening"! I BELIEVE !

Which building do you consider the mini museum? Can you describe what's in there?

There's a series of display buildings on the left; some are "empty" with the beautiful tile work but some have displays of artifacts, clothing, jewelry...I think there's even a "horse" in one.

I KNOW!!! Like I said...I love him DEARLY but......! I JUST cleaned my kitchen cabinets and stove YESTERDAY...even washed the burner liners in the dishwasher and now it's ALL COVERED WITH SAWDUST!

Redstorm made me smile though earlier . Our church has 3 services today at 10, 4 and 10 PM; they had to assist with the 10 AM service (we're going to Candlelight Service at my childhood church at 6:30) and SIL needed to help DH pick the door jam up and install it after services. Of course, the girls had to "inspect" what was under the tree ; Redstorm gave me a hug and said, "Mimi, you spoil us ... but just think...in a few years I'LL be able to spoil YOU when I'm working in meteorology!"
