I'm guessing it must be foot traffic? Maybe management is reading this and will capitalize on our idea!
a.m. line wine (mimosa/bubbly) always available in a coffee cup if staying upstairs.
It's cute to think all the people flooding The Perch are actually staying at GFLike I was really going to come downstairs from the lounge for this bar anyway?
Silly peasants.

Chaos it will be. This weekend should be entertaining. It's cute to think all the people flooding The Perch are actually staying at GF![]()

I suspect it is meant to be a quick and easy location - at least for now - to keep labor costs down. I am surprised that mimosas were not on offer... but I think it speaks to that point...To be serious for a second - and not to be a curmudgeon or anything - but I'm not sure I totally get this place? No martini or really any 'proper' evening cocktail? And since they offer bottles of wine, it's OK for me and some friends to sit there in the lobby with a bottle for awhile? It all seems so odd to me.
I was looking forward to a cocktail option spot other than Enchanted Rose (which can sometimes be a bit of a zoo) but I'm not sure this really hits the mark, at least for my tastes.
I thought the bottle pricing on the menu was bizarre too! Seems like it's encouraging people to linger. I'm not really sure what the target audience here is especially now that there is no band.To be serious for a second - and not to be a curmudgeon or anything - but I'm not sure I totally get this place? ) that once was empty.Sure you had to bring up that pesky herringbone tile again. I almost forgot about it while trying to figure out why there are so few options offered after we followed this build out like it was a Disney park (5th Gate) opening in the lobby.I’m not sure I see myself frequenting it often, but it’s a lovely space (tile aside) that once was empty.
I can’t wait to take in the view over the RPC railing. I wonder whether they’ll hang a notice saying, ‘Don’t feed the animals unless they have an ADR’?!Chaos it will be. This weekend should be entertaining.
Otherwise known as red coffee or white coffee depending on your preference
