After a year, some of the "figures" from Hurricane Harvey still shock me. "A year later-Rockport" story in the Chronicle says, "Data collected by the Texas Education Agency offers a glimpse into the chaos. At least
219,000 students were HOMELESS due to the storm and decided to stay at their home campus. Another
46,500 were forced to enroll in different schools as a direct result of Harvey. All but
SEVEN of Refugio ISD's
705 students were left homeless by the storm and nearly
91 PERCENT of Beaumont ISD's 18,857 students lost their homes."

Remembering that chaotic time still gives me goosebumps.
