Did y'all hear the latest Disney news? They're discontinuing PLASTIC STRAWS on the entire property! I H-A-T-E those paper straws!

I feel you. No matter how fast you drink, it always feels like it dissolves into your cup. Then you feel like you're drinking pulp. HOWEVER, plastic straws are apparently horrible for the environment, sea life in particular. I've been trying to go without using plastic straws day-to-day as much as I can but they are SOOOO convenient.

Yes, not the best for the environment but also heard all the "panic" over the plastic straws is based on an "unsubstantiated report"; even some environmentalist are doubting it's validity. DGD wouldn't drink her Starbucks at AK last week through that stupid paper straw; she took the lid off and drank out of the cup...resulting in a sticky spill ! Guess it will just mean more stuff to pack and bring from home; I have glass straws that I bought a few years ago; don't use them much but guess it's time to start purchasing them again. I'd much rather see Disney help the environment by making their napkins a little thicker again so you don't need 20 of them instead of 3-4! Really, really low quality paper goods since our last trip!

It's the fountain in DUMBO! My sweet 16 year old Redstorm went back to her childhood this trip ; she even got her Pappy to ride Dumbo with us and her pillow pet choice from this trip was DUMBO.
